1 Edge 510 LTE The Dell EMC Edge 510 LTE is a purpose-built, high-value appliance for Edge use case that supports SD-WAN with an integrated LTE adapter. For detailed installation information, including instructions for the wall mount and optional dual rackmount tray installation, see the Dell EMC Edge 510 LTE Installation Guide at www.dell.com/support. After unpacking the Edge 510 LTE, inspect the device and immediately report any damage to your Dell EMC sales representative.
1. Connect the two identical antennas (included in the box) to the MAIN and AUX SMA connectors on the back of the Edge. The GPS antenna (not included) is optional. NOTE: An active GPS antenna recommended for an excellent performance. A passive antenna with high gain will work if the unit/antenna is close to a window. Figure 1. Connect antennas 2. Remove the small phillips screw on the door for SIM access. Two SIM slots are available.

For wired connections, insert the Ethernet cable in either the GE3 or GE4 ports. For activating LTE, refer to the Configure Edge activation in the Edge 510 LTE Installation guide. When the WAN is operational, the front indicator light will turn green. NOTE: Use ONLY GE1 or GE2 1 Gb Ethernet ports for WAN connection to a laptop or switch. Figure 4.
