The SC-ISOSLICE-7 isolated Bus I/O module
combines full three-port isolation with
access to an industrial bus. This bus
connects to the SC-E-100 modules which
are then used to transmit the process
values via either an Ethernet or a
RS232/485 wired communications
network.
Full 3-port isolation is standard but for
channel to channel isolation please see the
SC-ISOSLICE-1.
The frequency or pulse counting input type
can be switched using internal DIP
switches for either volt-free contact inputs
or voltage level inputs. The two frequency
input values or one pulse counting total can
be read from internal modbus registers.
The units have a wide ranging 12 to 36 Vdc.
This supply can either be wired to the
appropriate terminals or picked up
automatically from the Bus connector.

The type of digital input can be selected using
internal DIP switches.
Typical inputs are volt free contacts or 0-24 Volt
The standard maximum frequency is 10kHz per
channel but higher frequencies may be available,
please enquire.
