110V/15 amp spas are supplied with a power cord but must be connected to a weatherproof 15A outlet. A1
220v/50 amp spa must be hardwired directly to your house supply. All 220v/50 amp electrical connections
must be performed by a licensed electrician and must confirm to all national, state and local electrical
codes in effect at time of install.
DO NOT turn power ON to the spa until it is filled with water.2
Check that unions are tight and check gate valves are open.3
Remove the cabinet door panel on the electronic keypad side of the spa and check that the pump(s) and
heater barrel unions are tightened. It is possible for these connections to become loose during transporta-
tion). Also check that all gate (T-handled) valves are pulled UP in the open position and have a clip locked
into place.
NOTE: If you see water escaping from beneath your spa, the unions should be the first thing you check.
LEAKS FROM UNIONS ARE NOT COVERED BY THE SPA’S WARRANTY.
Ensure that the external drain valve is firmly tightened and the jets are in the open position. 4
Refer to illustrations below.
Remove the filter from the spa and insert your garden hose down the filter line for at least 5 minutes.5
This will flood the plumbing lines of the spa and help prevent an air lock.
Clip is secured into proper position.
External drain is located in the bottom right corner of the spa (Round spa drain is located inside the spa cabinet).
Adjustable jets will rotate clockwise (on)
or counter-clockwise (off)
