Getting Started Unpacking 1 Remove packing materials from unit. Power Source 1 Unwind the AC POWER CORD (36) at the back of the unit and connect it to a power outlet. 2 Plug A/C cord into appropriate outlet. Note: Save all packing materials. 2 Remove plastic bag covering radio. 3 Remove plastic safety cover from A/C plug. 4 Remove tie from A/C cord and untie antenna wire on back of radio. 5 Open lid and remove styrofoam shipping material from turntable.
Turntable Operation Turntable Operation Turn the unit on by pressing the POWER BUTTON (13) located on the front panel. 1 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the PHONO position. 2 Set the SPEED CONTROL SWITCH (34) to the desired speed (33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm). Place the record on the turntable. 3 Pull the TONE ARM (33) slightly to the right side until hear the “click” sound to activate the TURNTABLE (31). 4 Move the TONE ARM (33) by hand to the record and slowly lower it to the desired starting point.
Cassette & Radio Operation Radio Operation Cassette Operation 1 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the TAPE position. 1 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the Radio position. 2 Insert a prerecorded tape through the CASSETTE DOOR (29).Tape will slide into the cassette mechanism and start playing. 2 Slide the AM/FM SWITCH (21) to the desired tuning band. 3 Adjust the volume level by turning the VOLUME KNOB (9). 3 Select the desired radio station by rotating TUNING KNOB (20).
CD Operation Playing A CD 1 2 Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH (8) to the CD position. Press the OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON (22/40) to open the CD DRAWER (14). Choose your selected disc tray by sliding the CD tray manually, and then place a disc in the tray with labeled side of the disc facing up. 3 Press the OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON (22/40)again to close the CD DRAWER (14). The display will show “ - - “for a few seconds, then the total number of tracks on the disc will be displayed.
CD Operation Repeat Playback 1 To repeat a single track, choose the track that you want to repeat, then press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (26/47) to start the track. Press the REPEAT BUTTON (23/48) once to repeat this track. The REPEAT INDICATOR (24) will flash. 2 To repeat all tracks, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (26/47) to start the CD. Press the REPEAT BUTTON (23/48) twice to repeat all tracks. Once the CD ends, it will start over again from the beginning of the CD. The REPEAT INDICATOR (24) will remain on.
Connecting Optional Equipment Auxiliary Inputs 1 You can connect external components to your unit by using the Auxiliary Inputs. 2 Plug Auxiliary cables (not supplied) into the LINE IN JACK (39) on the back of your unit. 3 Switch the LINE IN ON/OFF (38) to the ON position. 4 Plug the other end of the Auxililary cables into the output jack on your desired external component. 5 Check the volume level of your external component. 6 See operators manual for correct operation of the external component.
General Troubleshooting There is no Power 1 Make sure the radio is plugged in correctly. 2 Check to make sure the POWER BUTTON (13) is pushed in. There is no Sound 1 Check the volume level by turning the volume knob(9). Turntable will not work 1 Make sure the function switch is set to phono. 2 Try moving the tone arm to the right until you hear a “click”. 3 Make sure the protective needle cover is removed.

This warranty is not transferable. If the product is determined to be defective during the warranty period, the unit will be repaired or replaced at Crosley Radio’s sole discretion.
