Crestron CWD6609 Two-Way RF Transceiver Module CWD6609 Detail Views 1.64 in (4.15 cm) 2.35 in (5.98 cm) 9 10 1 2 Ports The module contains a 10-pin connector. Refer to the diagram and description that follow. 9 10 1 2 Power/I-O The 10-pin connector provides power to the module as well as communications between the module and wired devices. Refer to the following table for pin assignments of the module interface connector. NOTE: Pin 1 provides power to the circuit card.
Two-Way RF Transceiver Module Crestron CWD6609 Industry Compliance Labeling Requirements If the FCC ID on the CWD6609 is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. This exterior label can use wording such as the following: “Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: EROCWD6609” or “Contains FCC ID: EROCWD6609.
Crestron CWD6609 Two-Way RF Transceiver Module IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that these conditions cannot be met (for example certain laptop configurations or co-location with another transmitter), then the FCC authorization is no longer considered valid and the FCC ID cannot be used on the final product. In these circumstances, the OEM integrator will be responsible for reevaluating the end product (including the transmitter) and obtaining a separate FCC authorization. Operations Guide - DOC.
Two-Way RF Transceiver Module Crestron CWD6609 Setup Hardware Hookup Refer to the hookup diagram below, which shows the connections made to the module. Complete the connections in any order. NOTE: To prevent unit-to-unit RF interference, multiple modules operating at the same frequencies should not be installed within three to five feet of each other.
Crestron CWD6609 Two-Way RF Transceiver Module End Product Labeling The final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: “Contains FCC ID: EROCWD6609 . Documentation The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user regarding how to install or remove this RF module in the users manual of the end product which integrate this module.
