ASSEMBLY UNPACKING UNFOLDING AND ADJUSTING HANDLE ASSEMBLY This product requires assembly. ■ Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. ASSEMBLY INSTALLING THE MULCHING PLUG (FOR MULCHING OPERATION) to 2 in. during cool months and between 2 in. and 3-1/4 in. during hot months. See Figure 4 To adjust the blade height: NOTE: When using the mulching plug, do not install the grass catcher. • Remove battery pack(s). OPERATION MOWING TIPS • Make sure the lawn is clear of stones, sticks, wires, and other objects that could damage the lawn mower blades or motor. Do not mow over property stakes or other metal posts. Such objects could damage the blade or be accidentally thrown by the mower in any direction and cause serious personal injury to the operator and others. • For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass.
MAINTENANCE WARNING! Before performing any maintenance, make sure the mower battery are removed to avoid accidental starting and possible serious personal injury. WARNING! When servicing, use only authorized replacement parts. Use of any other parts can create a hazard or cause product damage. WARNING! Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
MAINTENANCE • Before storage, wipe any dirt or debris from the battery area. • Turn mower on its side and clean grass clippings that have accumulated on the underside of the mower deck. • Wipe the mower clean with a dry cloth. • Check all nuts, bolts, knobs, screws, fasteners, etc., for tightness. • Inspect moving parts for damage, breakage, a n d w e a r. H ave r e p a i r s m a d e o n a ny damaged or missing parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING IF THESE SOLUTIONS DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM CONTACT A QUALIFIED SERVICE DEALER. PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION Handle is loose. Handle locks are not locked. FUNCIONAMIENTO • Oprima y no suelte el botón de arranque. Tire del asa hacia el mango y suelte el botón para arrancar la podadora. • Para detener la podadora, suelte el interruptor de agarre. SUGERENCIAS PARA EL PODADO • Asegúrese de que el pasto no tenga piedras, palos, alambres ni otros objetos que puedan dañar las cuchillas o el motor de la podadora de pasto. CAUSA POSIBLE SOLUCIÓN Cerraduras de manija no están bloqueados. Cierre las trabas del mango superior y del mango inferior. El cortacésped no arranca. La carga de la batería está baja.
