Intel Processors If you are using an Intel CPU, it should be a 4th Generation Intel Core i5, or a processor from a newer generation that's even more powerful. These specific graphic cards have dedicated chips allowing hardware video encoding. They use technologies called Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV), NVIDIA NVENC and AMD VCE, respectively.

Any NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 series graphic card (except some GTX 600M series graphic cards) and newer/better NVIDIA GTX graphic cards support NVENC.

More Information about Supported Graphic Cards - Mac Only The following information is for the Mac only. For maximum performance, Elgato Game Capture HD60 S requires that your Mac have a dedicated GPU. Both NVIDIA and AMD GPUs are supported. Macs with only an Intel integrated GPU are not supported as most of them won't be able to process hardware video encoding and video compositing at the same time (a dedicated GPU is required for video compositing in most cases).
