Cool Shelves feature

integrated fans in the sides and have the option

of installing additional fan kits in the bottom of the

shelf for maximum cooling. Both shelves are

designed to fit in standard 19” equipment racks

and their heavy duty construction makes them

perfect for commercial and residential

applications. The 2

shelves feature two 50mm

fans in each side panel and the 3RU shelves

incorporate four 50mm fans in each side panel.

These fans can be configured to exhaust hot air,

intake cool air, or both for a cross flow of air to

keep even the hottest receivers and amplifiers from overheating and preventing thermal shutdowns. These

shelves can function as a standalone cooling solution or be used in conjunction with other cooling products

manufactured by Cool Components. In addition to cooling, these shelves have built-in wiring management to

keep cables neatly in place.

Today’s electronics such as receivers, amplifiers and high definition DVRs generate an enormous amount of

heat. The Cool Shelf by Cool Components solves the challenge of keeping that equipment cool when it is

installed in a rack, especially when airflow is otherwise limited. Whether configured to blow cool air onto the

components or exhaust the heated air, these shelves will help to solve the dilemma of heat build up which not

only can cause issues with performance but can also drastically shorten the life of equipment!
