Normal Use Charging the Battery 1) Turn SMAT ON • If SMAT is OFF, press and the hold the Power-and-Reset button until the Green Light illuminates 2) To ensure SMAT is ON and functioning, momentarily block one of the sensors with your hand or an object and check for the following indications: • Red LED Status Indicator illuminates • Audible “siren” warning tone 3) Gently slide the SMAT onto your hat visor using the attachment clips.
