Crochet this sweet bunny as a gift that is
sure to be hugged and loved! This furry
friend is perfect for Easter or any time of
the year.
Bunny measures about 11" [28 cm] high,
not including Ears.
Notes
1. Body, Head, Outer Ears, Legs and
Tail are worked with larger hook and
Fur™ yarn.
2. Inner Ears, Face, and Foot Pads are
worked with smaller hook and Super
Saver® yarn.
3. All pieces are sewn together with
yarn needle and Super Saver® yarn.
Special Stitches
sc2tog (single crochet 2 stitches
together) = [Insert hook in next stitch,
yarn over and pull up a loop] twice,
yarn over and draw through all 3 loops
on hook.
BUNNY
Body
Beginning at front end of Body, with
larger hook and A, ch 4.
Row 1: Work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook,
2 sc in each of next 2 ch—6 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, [sc in next st, 2 sc in
next st] 3 times—9 sc.
Row 4: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, [sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc
in next st] 3 times—12 sc.
Rows 6 and 7: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st
across.
Fasten off.
Finishing Body: Fold last row (Row
7) in half. Cut a long length of C, and
beginning at fold, gather the 12 sc
together and pull tightly to shape
bottom. Sew back seam, stuffing as you
go. At top, gather neck stitches together
and fasten off. Weave in ends securely.
Head
With larger hook and A, beginning at
top of Head, ch 4.
Row 1: Work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 2
sc in each of next 2 ch—6 sc.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, [sc in next st, 2 sc in
next st] 3 times—9 sc.
Row 4: Ch1, turn, sc in each st across.
Fasten off.
Finishing Head
Weave C through stitches of last row
(Row 4) and pull to gather, then sew
side edges of piece together, stuffing
as you go. Weave C through base of
stitches of first row, pull tightly to
gather neck stitches together. Fasten
off. Referring to photo for placement,
securely sew Head to top of Body using
C. Weave in ends securely.
Outer Ear (make 2)
With larger hook and A, ch 5.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in
next 3 ch—4 sc.
Fasten off.
Inner Ear (make 2)
With smaller hook and B, ch 15.
Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in
next 12 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working on
opposite side of ch, sc in last 13 ch—
29 sc.
Round 2: Ch 1, turn, hdc in next 13 sc, 2
hdc in each of next 3 sc, hdc in last 13 sc,
join with slip st in first sc—32 sc.
Fasten off. Using C, sew Inner Ear
to Outer Ear. Referring to photo for
placement, sew Ears to Head.
