General 1. General 1.1. Safety Precautions Only connect to mains power supply (230 Volt/50 Hz). Do not place containers filled with water on top of the device. Do not place the device in close proximity of water (e.g. sink, wash basin, etc.). The device can fall into the water and cause a short circuit. The device consumes some power during standby operation. For zero power consumption disconnect from mains power supply.
General 1.2. Disposal of Waste Electronic Equipment Your product is manufactured from high quality raw materials and should be recycled. Ask your municipality for collecting points for waste electronic equipment. Do not dispose of old appliances with the household waste. The symbol on the product, the instructions for use or the packing will advert about the methods for disposal. 1.3. Battery Disposal The law requires returning exhausted batteries to public collection points or the dealer.

Features This Hifi system - DMS 7770 can play all Audio CD’s and MP3 CD’s. Music playback is also possible via USB port. You may also play your MP3 files directly from the MP3 player connected to AUX in. Purchase the AUX cable separately.

Preparation 4. Preparation 4.1. Assembly the pedestal Follow these steps to mount the base: Unpack all parts for the pedestal. 1 2 Two brackets Holder for the device 3 4 Four screws: twice briefly / twice long stilt 5 pedestal If you are missing one of the parts for assembly, so please report it immediately to your dealer or our service facility.
Preparation 1. Plug the pedestal (front is where the recess is for the remote control) and the stilt together. 2. Screw the longer screws on the underside of the pedestal on the stilt. 3. Remove the two brackets and insert them with the tip pointing forward to the silt.
Preparation 4. Now place the holder (with the word CLOSE to you) on the bracket and adjust the screw holes. 5. Now screw the stilt and the holder together with the shorter screws.
Preparation 6. Place the stand under the main unit and slide the stand from down to upward. Hear if the device is snap into place 4.2. Wall mount For a wall mount you need 2 wall plugs and screws. We recommend you to take away the wall holder and to ask the consultant into a shop. Which anchors and screws for your wall at home are suitable. Remote control When you don't use the remote control, you can give it into the compartment on the pedestal 1. Insert two AAA batteries (1,5V LR03) observing the polarity (+ and -) as marked inside the battery.
Preparation 4.3.2. Backup memory The battery compartment for backup of the memory (clock and radio stations) located on the rear panel. These two batteries are for backup of the “real time clock” and “radio memory preset stations during brief power outages”. 1. Preparation 4.5. Timer / Alarm With the timer function of the device, you can use the device at a set time automatically on or off. Program the timer as follows: The timer only works when you already have set the clock. 1. Press TIMER on the remote control for 1 second. On the display ON appears and the hour indicator lights up. 2. Press NEXT or BACK to set the hour and confirm by pressing TIMER. Now, the minute indicator lights up. 3. Press NEXT or BACK to set the minutes and confirm by pressing TIMER.
CD player 7. Now, you can still adjust the volume with NEXT or N BACK for playback and confirm by pressing TIMER. The timer was successfully set. 5. CD player Press FUNCTION on the remote control to use the CD player until CD appears on the display. 5.1. Insert CD / MP3-CD 1. Press PUSH to open the CD door. 2. CD player Repeat All Repeat all tracks on the CD 2. Press RANDOM on the remote control. Repeat all tracks on the CD in random order. 3. Radio If you have an MP3 CD with more as one album, please proceed as follows: 1. During playback press STOP before programming. 2. Press MEMORY on the remote control until the album number is displayed. 3. Press P-UP or P-DN until the desired album is displayed and confirm with MEMORY. 4. Press NEXT or BACK until the desired track is displayed. 5. Repeat steps 2 until 4 to program further tracks. 6. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playback Press STOP to delete the programming and open the CD deck.

External components To avoid hearing problems do not use earphones or headphones for an extended period of time. Increased sound pressure from earphones or headphones can cause hearing loss. See chapter 9 for further settings. 8.2. USB 2.0 Extend your system by connecting your MP3 player or USB stick. Do not disconnect the device when “USB” mode is selected. 1. Connect your MP3 player or USB stick. 2. Press FUNCTION until „USB“ is displayed. 3. Press PLAY to start playback.
Further operation The device plays your music over and over as long as the battery on your MP3 player holds. Load your MP3 player on a regular basis in order to use this function. If you select the source of "AUX", do not disconnect the device. 1. Connect your MP3 player or USB stick. 2. Press FUNCTION until the display "AUX" appears. 3. Press PLAY to start playback. Only disconnect after pressing STOP and selecting with FUNCTION a different mode. 9.
