Instant Wireless® Series T The Access Point’s Front Panel The LEDs on the Access Point’s front panel, shown in Figure 3-2, display network activity. Instant Wireless® Series The WEP key can consist of the letters “A” through “F” and the numbers “0” through “9” and should be 10 characters in length for 64-bit encryption, 26 characters in length for 128bit encryption, or 32 characters in length for 152-bit encryption. Instant Wireless® Series Passphrase. This is a text string with a maximum of 16 alphanumeric characters used for generating a WEP Key. Type the passphrase here. This passphrase may not work with non-Linksys products due to possible incompatibility with other vendors’ passphrase generators. If you’d rather not use a passphrase and would rather enter the WEP Key manually, click the Next button. Dual-Band Wireless A + G Access Point 12.
