1. Introduction 1.1 Preface Thank you for purchasing the CiragoTV Mini USB Media Player. This mini media player has a lot of great features packed into it - you can enjoy movies, music, and photos on your TV by just connecting an external hard drive or memory card to it. This player has the following functionality: Video Playback - Supports AVI, VOB, MPG, DAT, files with corresponding codecs: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 ASP, XviD (resolution up to D1 quality).
1.3.2 Radio interference/compatibility If not properly shielded, almost all electronic devices will get radio interference. Under some conditions, your player might get interference. The design of this player has followed the FCC/CE standard, and has followed the following rules: (1) This player may not cause harmful interference; (2) This player could accept some interference received including interference that may cause undesired operation. 1.3.
1.4.2 Memory card A memory card can be used by inserting it into the card slot. (1) Make sure the player is powered on (2) Insert your memory card (SD/MMC/MS) to the memory card slot 1.4.3 TV connection 1.4.3.1 A/V OUT (1) Follow the picture and plug in the connector to the player’s A/V OUT jack; (2) Follow the picture and plug in the 3 color connector to the TV’s A/V IN jack. This allows you to enjoy the content from the player on your TV. 1.4.3.
Connecting the CiragoTV Mini to your TV with an HDMI cable will provide you with the highest quality video and audio output. 1.4.4 Power connection (1) Follow the picture and connect the AC adaptor to the player’s DC IN jack; (2) Follow the picture and plug in the AC adaptor to the power outlet. 1.5 First Time Usage 1. Power on Plug in the power cord to the DC IN jack on the player, and the POWER indicator on the front panel will turn blue. 2. Power off Press the POWER button on the remote control.
2. About the CiragoTV Mini 2.1 Remote Control All functions listed in this user manual can be carried out using the remote control. See the following for details on each button and its function: 1. 3. Setup Menu The Setup Menu allows you to configure video, audio, photo and system settings. Select the Setup icon in the main interface to enter this Menu. 3.1 General Setup This section allows you to setup your language preference and other system settings. Display Language Select and change the system language. It supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch. File Sorting Select and change the file sorting method.
3.2 Video Setup This section allows you to configure the video settings. TV Type Set the TV system. Resolution Set the video output mode: 480i/576i, 480p/576p, 720p, 1080i. Divx Subtitle Turn subtitle on/off. Subtitle Color Select the color of subtitles. Subtitle Backgroud Select the color of the subtitle background. Main Page Back to the main setup menu. 3.3 Audio Setup This section allows you to configure the audio settings. Audio Output Select to set Analog, RAW, or PCM.
3.4 Photo Setup This section allows you to configure the photo settings. Interval Time Select the interval time of photo slide show: 1, 3, 5, or 10 seconds Transition Mode Select the transition effect of photo slide show. Main Page Back to the main setup menu. 3.5 Firmware Version This section displays the firmware version.
4. Media Playback 4.1 Main Interface Use the navigation buttons on your remote control to select between Photos, Music, Movies, Files and the Setup menu. 4.2 Photos Select the Photo icon on the main interface to enter this menu, and all of the supported pictures stored on the device will be displayed. Press the UP / DOWN button to select a photo you wish to browse, and press the PLAY / PAUSE button to begin the playback.
You can access the following functions during playback: TOOLS: PREV/NEXT: STOP: Press to activate/hide the tool bar during playback. Press to go to previous/next file. Press to stop the playback. Slide Show When browsing through photos press the SLIDESHOW button in the tool bar to activate the photo slide show feature with background music. 4.3 Music Select the Music icon from the main interface to enter this menu, and all of the supported audio files stored on the device will be displayed.
4.4 Movies Select the Movies icon from the main interface to enter this menu. All of the supported video files stored on the device will be displayed. In video list, press the LEFT button to enable the buttons in the tool bar. Press the UP / DOWN button to select a video file you wish to play, and press the PLAY / PAUSE button to Play. DVD Playback DVD files stored on the portable HDD can be played directly on the CiragoTV Mini.
TOOL: Press to activate/hide the tool bar during playback. PREV/NEXT: STOP: Press to go to previous/next chapter. Press to stop the playback. With the buttons in the tool bar, you can switch the audio languages, subtitle, etc. Note: The VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS directories need to be copied together to one same folder on the connected external hard drive. Press the TOOLS button on the remote control to activate/hide the tool bar during playback. 4.
Press the UP / DOWN button to select a file you wish to browse, and press the PLAY / PAUSE button to begin the playback. 5. Upgrading the Firmware Download the latest firmware from www.cirago.com. Please follow the steps below to upgrade the firmware. 1. Copy the firmware upgrade file to a memory card or an external USB device. 2. Insert the memory card or external USB device into the CiragoTV Mini. 3. Locate the saved file by entering the FILE menu from the main interface 4.

Question 4. Some of my photos on my USB drive do not appear. They are JPEG files, so they should show up. What can I do to view them through the CiragoTV Mini? Answer: There are several different types of JPEG files. The player doesn’t support all the modes. Changing the format as explained below should fix this problem.
