© CIAS Elettronica S.r.l. Ed. 2.0 1 DESCRIPTION Description The innovative MICRO-RAY is a multi-ray microwave barrier (1, 2, 3 or 4 rays) for external perimeter protections up to 100m. The microwave rays have a diameter of about 40/50 cm similar to an infrared barrier but with all the following advantages: ➢ Immune to fog, rain, snow, hail, wind, sandstorms, etc.
© CIAS Elettronica S.r.l. Ed. 2.0 2 INSTALLATION Column assembly on the TOWER BASE Once the column cover is open (removing the top cover, after unscrewed the two closing screws), align the lower part with the plug of the TOWER-BASE steel base that will be fixed to the ground (see Fig. 1 and 2). At this point insert the special plug in the column only after having positioned the locking L-shaped bracket (Fig. 3). After this you can fix the supplied screws (Fig. 4). Fig. 1 Column admitted for assembly Fig.

Ed. 2.0 Base template of the column and column footprint Figure 6 File eventually available in 1:1 scale Column composition All microwave rays are assembled in the factory at preset heights (based on the model chosen), but then they can be moved according to the needs of the field. The barrier is composed of two columns, each one can contain up to 4 rays (only for 3m tower) always identified with the letter "A" for one column and the letter "B" for the other.

The communication parameters are as follows: Mode: Asynchronous Half-Duplex Speed: 9600 b/s Character length: 8 bit Parity check: None Stop bit: 1 All the circuits are connected in the factory in a serial way to the MICRO-RAY Interface module. Any connections between MICRO-RAY columns can therefore be carried out easily via the interface.
© CIAS Elettronica S.r.l. Ed. 2.0 Write barrier number: • Select the desired barrier number (from 01 to 31) using the switches SW2 (tens) and SW3 (units) • Press the microswitch "S2". In this phase the Fault (D6) and Tamper (D5) leds will turn on, confirming the acquisition of the new barrier number set.
© CIAS Elettronica S.r.l. Ed. 2.0 c) Turn the function switch SW1 to position 1. This operation activates the barrier installation phase. d) Press the S3 button. This operation will activate the system of rapid adjustment of the received signal. After a few seconds, the rapid signal adjustment system stops, and the Buzzer BZ1 will emit an intermittent sound (1 Hz), indicating that the signal has reached the correct working level.
