OPERATION ATTACHING BATTERY PACK (FIG.1) FIG. 1 Battery-Release Button Detach batteries. Do not store or carry batteries in such a way that metal objects can contact exposed battery terminals. Your unit is equipped with memory function in order to store the time and your preset radio stations. OPERATION USING INCLUDED AC POWER ADAPTOR (FIG. 3) Open the dust protection cover on the right side of the radio, insert the AC power adaptor plug into the DC socket. Plug the adaptor into a standard power outlet. Whenever the adaptor is used, the battery pack is automatically disconnected. The AC power adaptor should be disconnected from the power outlet when not in use. NOTE: The battery pack cannot be charged by using the power adaptor.
OPERATION STANDBY MODE (FIG. 5) SETTING THE VOLUME (FIG. 6) When the unit is switched on, briefly press the On/Off/Volume knob , the unit switches to standby mode. To increase the volume, rotate the On/Off/ Volume knob clockwise. To decrease it, turn the knob counterclockwise. When the unit is in standby mode, all audio output will stop. Only the display will continue showing the time and date, but the display brightness will dim after 30 seconds. Briefly press the button to mute the sound.
OPERATION SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE (FIG. 8) To select the operating mode, briefly press the MODE button several times until the desired mode is displayed. The following operating modes are available: - FM Radio reception - AM Radio reception Press the button to pause or play. NOTE: To disconnect (forget) the Bluetooth® device after successful pairing, press the button and hold for 2 seconds. The paired device will get disconnected.
OPERATION FIG. 10 USB-A Charging Port Type-C Charging Port AUX Input Port CHARGING EXTERNAL DEVICES VIA THE USB-A AND TYPE-C PORTS (FIG. 10) When a battery pack is installed or the unit is connected to the AC power adaptor and the unit is turned on, the USB-A and Type-C charging ports will supply power for low power devices such as cell phones, MP3 players, etc. Immediately disconnect the devices after charging. Replace the dust protection cover to protect the ports from dust, dirt, and moisture.
To recall the stored stations - Press the Recall” button to enter “Preset - Press the or button or rotate the knob to find the desired programmed radio station, e.g., “P10” - Press the button to confirm. “P10” station will be played. To store and recall stations in quick-access presets (FIG. 12). Additionally, the unit features five quickaccess preset buttons (1 – 5) that allow user to quickly store and recall 5 stations in FM and 5 in AM wavebands.
SW VERSION (FIG. 14) The software display cannot be altered and is just for your reference. - Press and hold the MODE button down for 2 seconds to enter System Menu. “System” will appear on the display. - Press the button to see “Factory Reset” on the display. - Press the or button or rotate knob to find “SW Version” on the display, then press the button.
