If the box or the contents (the product and included accessories) appear damaged from shipping or show signs of mishandling, notify the carrier immediately, not CHAUVET®.
Before You Begin Safety Notes Read all the following Safety Notes before working with this product. These notes include important information about the installation, usage, and maintenance of this product. This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Any reference to servicing in this User Manual Rev. 2 will only apply to properly trained CHAUVET® certified technicians. Do not open the housing or attempt any repairs.
Introduction 2. Introduction Description Features The COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW is powered by 18 tri-colored CW LEDs in a compact and durable housing. A split-yoke bracket eliminates the need for floor stands. Power linking, as well as 3- and 5-pin DMX connectors simplify connections and setup. The COLORdash™ Par Tri-18 also includes an accessory holder and a gel frame.

Setup 3. Setup AC Power The COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW has an auto-ranging power supply that works with an input voltage range of 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. To determine the power requirements for each COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW, refer to the label affixed to the product. You can also refer to the Technical Specifications section in this manual. The listed current rating indicates the maximum current draw during normal operation.
Setup DMX Linking You can link the COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW to a DMX controller using a standard DMX serial connection. If using other DMX compatible products with the COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW, you can control each individually with a single DMX controller. DMX Modes The COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW uses the standard DMX data connection for its 2 Ch, 3 Ch, and 7 Ch DMX modes. • Refer to the Introduction section for a brief description of these modes.
Setup Mounting Before mounting this product, read and follow the Safety Notes. Orientation Always mount this product in a safe position and make sure there is adequate room for ventilation, configuration, and maintenance. Rigging The COLORdash™ Par-Tri 18VW consists of a double-yoke bracket and the body of the product. CHAUVET® recommends using the following general guidelines when mounting this product.

Operation Static Color The Static Color mode allows for permanent white color mixing without a DMX controller. 1. Go to the Static main level. 2. Select Fix C or Manu C. a. Fix C: i. Select W for warm white LEDs at 100% ii. Select C for cool white LEDs at 100% iii. Select CW for all LEDs at 100% b. Manu C: i. Select W for warm white LEDs or C for cool white LEDs. ii. Select the desired color value (Value 000~255). iii. Repeat the steps for the other color.
Operation Display Backlight This setting determines how long the backlight on the display will stay on. 1. Go to the BackLite main level. 2. Select the desired amount of time the backlight display will stay on after pressing the last menu button (On, 10 S, 20 S, or 30 S). Dimmer Curves This setting provides you with four options to simulate the dimming curve of an incandescent light product. 1. Go to the Dim Mode main level. 2. Select the desired dimmer curve (OFF, DIM1, DIM2, or DIM3).

Technical Information 5. Technical Information Product Maintenance To maintain optimum performance and minimize wear, you should clean this product frequently. Usage and environment are contributing factors in determining the cleaning frequency. As a rule, clean this product at least twice a month. Dust build-up reduces light output performance and can cause overheating. This can lead to reduced light source life and increased mechanical wear. To clean your product: • Unplug the product from power.
