USB OTG Port USB On-The-Go (USB OTG) is a specification that allows USB devices, such as tablets or, to act as a host, allowing other USB devices, such as USB flash drives, digital cameras, mice or keyboards, to be attached to them. Use of USB (Type C) OTG allows those devices to switch back and forth between the roles of host and device. A mobile tablet may read from removable media as the host device, but present itself as a USB Mass Storage Device when connected to a host computer.
USB OTG Port How to use USB Type C OTG function? 1. Go to settings/connected devices. 2. Enable TYPEC OTG. 3. Please remember to disable TYPE C OTG manually after using the OTG operation. The USB hub can’t work while OTG is active/enabled.
USB OTG Port How to copy the file between the device and the laptop? Go to settings/connected devices. Enable USB DEVICE MODE (once this option is enable, the USB hub can’t work). Connect the device to the laptop by a Type C cable. Choose File Transfer. Copy the file between the device and the laptop. Disconnect the device from the laptop.
