The Oracle Futura Remote has been designed exclusively for the Oracle Gate Access system. This
remote can access up to four different gate controllers.
Teaching an FRMT to the Gate Access Unit
Each Futura remote control has a unique internal ID, so that others cannot access
your Oracle Gate System.
The large button is considered Button #1, while the 3 smaller buttons are
considered #2, 3 & 4, respectively.
To begin using the remote, you must TEACH the remote to your system. Follow
the steps below:
Enter your master PIN number on the Oracle Gate Access Panel, followed by 8, then the gate
controller number (1-4). (If your system is controlling a single Gate Controller, enter 1).
The Gate Access unit will beep. Press the remote button you wish to control the gate with. The Gate
Access Unit will respond with a double-beep. That remote button now controls that Gate Controller.
Up to eight remotes can be used with the Oracle Gate System.
A triple-beep indicates that the remote was not successfully taught to the system. Repeat the above
steps.
Example: if your master PIN is 1234, and you wish button #1 to control the
gate: Enter 1 2 3 4 8 1 on the Gate Access Panel. After the Gate
Access panel beeps in response, press button #1 on the remote.
A double beep indicates success.
Teaching an FRMT to a Basic 315 or Ultrx315 Unit
Power down the Basic 315 or Ultrx315 and power it back up. Press the remote button you wish to use
to control the RX unit. The RX unit will buzz indicating teaching was successful.
Using the Futura Remote
To open a gate using the Remote, press the appropriate button on your remote for 3 seconds. You
should be less than 75 ft. from the Gate Access unit for reliable operation.
Battery The Futura remote operates on 2 CR1232 Lithium batteries.
