Getting Started

Powering Up and Pairing

1. Viewing the backside of the device, take a small

slotted screwdriver or paperclip and insert it into

the notch above the battery cover. Gently pop the

battery cover off.

2. Insert battery with ﬂat side facing up.

3. Initiate paring on the home gateway/hub.

4. Reinstall battery cover to the device.

5. The device will begin looking for a network to join

upon powering up.

6. Finish pairing setup from your home gateway/hub.

Troubleshooting Specifications Step 1: Remove and Replace Battery from Device Open the battery tray on the back of the device. Remove battery and replace with a new CR-2032 battery. Reassemble and test operation. Power Rated: 3V Battery: CR-2032 Battery Life: Up to 2 years Environmental Operating Temperature: 0° to 40°C Step 2: Factory Reset and Rejoin Remove battery. Hold the device slide in the “out” position. While holding the slide in the “out” position, reinsert battery to factory reset the device.
