Instructions / Assembly

Important!
Do not cover this cage with fire glass. It
contains the flame sensor and requires
air flow/ventilation for proper operation.
INSTALLATION
Cut-Out Size: The size of the hole (cut-out) youre placing the burner pan into
should be approximately 1 larger than the drop-in portion of the pan. This will
allow for easy installation and expansion of the pan.
Clearances - Maintain a minimum of 36 clearance on all sides and 8 above
your burner.
Enclosure Enclosure Ventilation - Minimum of 20 square inches of ventilation is
required. Propane is heavier than air, so be sure to locate the ventilation in the
lowest point of the enclosure. Natural gas is lighter than air, so ventilation
should be in the highest point of the enclosure.
Fire Glass DepthFire Glass Depth - Fire glass should just barely cover the burner in the pan.
The burner should not be visible. Excess fire glass will disperse the gas too
much leading to sooting and inconsistant flame. Do not cover the metal cage
where the igniter is. There is a sensor in this cage which requires the flame in
the cage to burn unobstructed.
