Use and Care Manual

Care and Use of your Fire Pit Burner
The burner requires very little care. It’s made of solid stainless steel, so it’s able to stand up to
the weather.
Cleaning:
For light cleaning use a 50/50 mixture of water and vinegar. You can also use this
solution to clean your fire glass.
For heavier cleaning you can use a stainless steel cleaner - the same stainless steel cleaner
you use on your stainless steel kitchen appliances (stove top for example).
Before Lighting Your Gas Fire Pit:
Be sure to Remove leaves and other debris before using your fire pit, this ensures the fire
glass or lava rocks stays clean.
Do not light your fire pit if the gas has been on for a prolonged time. Allow the built-up
gas to dissipate before attempting to light.
Cautions:
Caution - Burn Hazard! The burner pan gets very hot when in use, do not touch the
burner pan when in operation and allow time for the burner to cool after turning off the
flame.
Use only in a well-ventilated area.
Turn off immediately if you smell gas. Make sure all gas is turned off at its source. If
you still smell gas call your gas supplier or the fire department.
Use caution when operating your fire pit on windy days.
Do not leave the fire pit unattended when in use.
Children should always be supervised by an adult when the fire pit is in operation.
Have an ABC Fire Extinguisher accessible when operating your fire pit.
