Allgemeines 1.2 Warnhinweise In der vorliegenden Bedienungsanleitung werden folgende Warnhinweise verwendet: Ein Warnhinweis dieser Gefahrenstufe kennzeichnet eine drohende gefährliche Situation. Allgemeines 1.3 Haftungsbeschränkung Alle in dieser Anleitung enthaltenen technischen Informationen, Daten und Hinweise für die Installation, Betrieb und Pflege entsprechen dem letzten Stand bei Drucklegung und erfolgen unter Berücksichtigung unserer bisherigen Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse nach bestem Wissen. Aus den Angaben, Abbildungen und Beschreibungen in dieser Anleitung können keine Ansprüche hergeleitet werden.
Sicherheit 2 Sicherheit In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann jedoch zu Personen und Sachschäden führen. 2.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt in geschlossenen Räumen zum Erwärmen, Kochen und Braten von Lebensmitteln bestimmt. Das dabei verwendete Kochgeschirr muss für Induktionskochgeräte geeignet sein.
Sicherheit 2.2 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden allgemeinen Sicherheitshinweise: ► Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. ► Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung muss eine neue Anschlussleitung durch eine autorisierte Fachkraft installiert werden.
Sicherheit 2.3 Gefahrenquellen 2.3.1 Gefahr durch elektromagnetisches Feld Durch die beim Betrieb des Gerätes entstehenden magnetischen Felder kann es zu Beeinträchtigungen kommen. Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise: ► Personen mit gesteigerter Elektrosensibilität sollten sich nicht länger als nötig in unmittelbarer Nähe des Gerätes aufhalten.
Sicherheit 2.3.3 Explosionsgefahr Bei nicht sachgemäßer Verwendung des Gerätes besteht Explosionsgefahr durch entstehenden Überdruck. Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um die Explosionsgefahr zu vermeiden: ► Erhitzen Sie niemals Speisen oder Flüssigkeiten in verschlossenen Behältern wie z.B. Konservendosen. Durch den entstehenden Überdruck kann der Behälter platzen. Eine Konservendose wird am besten erwärmt, indem man sie öffnet und in einem mit etwas Wasser gefüllten Topf stellt. 2.3.

Inbetriebnahme 3 Inbetriebnahme In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes. Beachten Sie die Hinweise um Gefahren und Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. 3.1 Sicherheitshinweise Bei der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes können Personen- und Sachschäden auftreten! Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um die Gefahren zu vermeiden: ► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr. 3.
Inbetriebnahme Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien an den Sammelstellen für das Verwertungssystem »Grüner Punkt«. ► Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall wieder ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können. 3.5 Aufstellung 3.5.
Inbetriebnahme Das Gerät benötigt zum korrekten Betrieb eine ausreichende Luftströmung. Lassen Sie bei der Aufstellung 50 mm an allen Seiten Freiraum. Fixieren Sie das Kochfeld an der Tischplatte indem Sie 4 Klammern an der Unterseite des Gerätes festschrauben. Passen Sie die Klammern der Stärke der Tischplatte an. caso Master E2 Die Kühlluft wird von der Unterseite des Gerätes angesaugt. Decken Sie keine Luftöffnungen ab und blockieren Sie diese nicht.
Inbetriebnahme Luftauslass Lufteinlass 3.5.2 Vermeidung von Funkstörungen Durch das Gerät können Störungen bei Radios, Fernsehern oder ähnlichen Geräten auftreten. Durch folgende Maßnahmen können Störungen beseitigt oder reduziert werden: Stellen Sie das Radio, den Fernseher etc. soweit wie möglich vom Gerät entfernt auf. Schließen Sie das Gerät an einer anderen Steckdose an, so dass für das Gerät und den gestörten Empfänger unterschiedliche Stromkreise verwendet werden.
Inbetriebnahme 3.6 Elektrischer Anschluss Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes sind beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise zu beachten: Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten. Im Zweifelsfall fragen Sie Ihre Elektro-Fachkraft.

Aufbau und Funktion 5.2 Hinweise zum Kochgeschirr Das für die Induktionskochfläche benutzte Kochgefäß muss aus Metall sein, magnetische Eigenschaften haben und eine ausreichende, plane Bodenfläche besitzen. So können Sie die Eignung des Gefäßes feststellen: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass am Gefäß einen Hinweis für die Eignung zum Kochen mit Induktionsstrom trägt, oder führen Sie den folgenden Magnettest durch: Führen Sie einen Magneten (z.B.
Aufbau und Funktion Beachten Sie auch die folgenden Hinweise zur Verwendung geeigneten Kochgeschirrs: ► Benutzen Sie nur Töpfe mit induktionsgeeignetem Boden. ► Das maximal zulässige Gewicht von allen Töpfen mit Inhalt darf 12 kg nicht überschreiten. ► Vorsicht bei der Verwendung von hohlwandigen Simmertöpfen. Diese Töpfe können unbemerkt leer kochen. Dies führt zu Beschädigungen am Topf und am Kochfeld. ► Lassen Sie die Oberfläche des Kochgeschirrs nicht über die Oberfläche kratzen.

So vermeiden Sie unnötigen Energieverbrauch und gewährleisten Ihre Sicherheit. 5.4 Betrieb des Gerätes 5.4.1 Ausschalten Das gesamte Gerät wird über den Hauptschalter An/Standby (1) ausgeschaltet. ► Beachten Sie, dass der Lüfter des Gerätes nach dem Ausschalten eine Zeit lang weiterläuft, um die im Gerät gestaute Hitze abzuführen. 5.4.

Operation and Handling 15.2 Instructions on Cookware The cooking pot used for the induction cooking surface must be made of metal, have magnetic characteristics and have a sufficient, flat bottom surface. Here is how to decide if the pot is suitable: Ensure that the pot bears an inscription stating its suitability for cooking with induction current, or perform the following magnet test: Place a magnet (e.g. a magnet from a magnetic board) close to the base of your cooking pot.
Operation and Handling Attention Please also adhere to the following instructions for using suitable cookware: ► Only use pots with an induction-compatible base. ► The maximum permissible weight of all pots plus its contents must not exceed 12 kg. ► Be careful when using hollow-walled simmer pots. Pots of this type can boil dry unnoticed. This leads to damage to the pot and hob.
Operation and Handling 15.4 Operating the Appliance 15.4.1 Switching Off The complete appliance is switched off using the Master On/Standby switch (1). Please note ► Note that the appliance’s fan continues to operate for a while after the appliance has been switched off in order to dissipate the heat that has built up in the appliance. 15.4.2 Switching On Press the Master On/Standby switch (1), the keys light up and an acoustic signal sounds. Veiligheid 52 Veiligheid In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies betreffende de omgang met het apparaat. Dit apparaat beantwoordt aan de voorgeschreven veiligheidsvoorschriften. Een ondeskundig gebruik kan echter tot materiële schade en schade aan personen leiden. 52.1 Gebruik volgens de voorschriften Dit apparaat is alleen voor het gebruik in het huishouden in een gesloten ruimte ter bestemd voor het opwarmen, koken en bakken van levensmiddelen.

Ingebruikname 53Ingebruikname In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke informatie omtrent de ingebruikname van het apparaat. Neem de aanwijzingen in acht om gevaren en beschadigingen te voorkomen. 53.1 Veiligheidsvoorschriften WAARSCHUWING Bij de ingebruikneming van het apparaat kan materiële schade en letsel aan personen ontstaan! Neemt u de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht om de gevaren te voorkomen: ► Verpakkingsmateriaal mag niet als speelgoed gebruikt worden. Er bestaat kans op verstikking.
Ingebruikname 53.4 Verwijderen van de verpakking De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn uitgezocht vanuit milieuvriendelijke en verwijderingtechnische gezichtspunten en daarom recyclebaar Het terugbrengen van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop bespaart grondstoffen en verkleint de afvalhoop. Lever niet meer benodigd verpakkingsmateriaal in bij een afvalbrengstation, dat zorgdraagt voor de recycling.
Ingebruikname caso Master E2 Plaats de inductiekookplaat niet in de buurt van apparaten en voorwerpen die makkelijk op magneetvelden reageren (bijv. koelkasten, vaatwassers, drogers, radio’s, televisies, cassetterecorders, etc. ). De inbouw en montage van dit apparaat op niet stationaire plekken (bijvoorbeeld schepen) mogen alleen door vakzaken/vakmensen uitgevoerd worden, als ze de voorwaarden voor een veilig gebruik van dit apparaat garanderen.
Ingebruikname Bevestig de kookplaat aan het tafelblad door 4 klemmen aan de onderkant van het apparaat vast te schroeven. Pas de klemmen aan de dikte van het tafelblad aan.

Bediening en gebruik 55.2 Aanwijzingen voor kookgerei Het voor de inductie kookoppervlakte te gebruiken kookgerei moet uit metaal zijn, magnetische eigenschappen hebben en voldoende vlakke bodemruimte hebben. Zo kunt u vaststellen of het kookgerei geschikt is: Breng een magneet (bv. een magneet van een magneetbord) naar de bodem van uw pan. Wordt de magneet sterk aangetrokken, dan kunt u deze pan op de inductiekookoppervlakte gebruiken.
Bediening en gebruik VOORZICHT Let u ook op de volgende aanwijzingen voor het gebruik van geschikt kookgerei: ► Gebruik uitsluitend pannen met een bodem, die geschikt is voor inductie. ► Het maximale toegestane gewicht van alle pannen met inhoud mag de 12 kg. niet overschrijden. ► Voorzichtig bij het gebruik van lege bain-marie pannen. Deze pannen kunnen ongemerkt leeg koken. Dat leidt tot beschadegingen aan de pan en de kookplaat.
Bediening en gebruik TIP ► Schakel het apparaat na gebruik uit. Zo vermeidt u onnodig energieverbuik en bent u verekerd van uw eigen veiligheid. 55.4 Gebruik van het apparaat 55.4.1 Uitschakelen Het gehele apparaat wordt met de hoofdschakelaar An/Standby (1) uitgeschakeld. TIP ► Let u er op dat de ventilator van het apparaat na het uitschakelen nog een tijdje verder loopt, om de in het apparaat aanwezige warmte af te voeren. 55.4.
Bediening en gebruik •u het kookgerei niet op de juiste kookzone heeft neergezet, • het gebruikte kookgerei niet voor inductie geschikt is • het kookgerei te klein is of niet precies in het midden van de kookzone staat. 55.4.3 Kookstanden Om de kookstand te kiezen drukt u net zo lang op de keuzetoets +/- (2) . De standaard niveau "5" gaat op het apparaat. U kunt uit de kookstanden 1-9 kiezen. Als u gelijktijdig op de toetsen + en – (2) drukt, wordt ook “0” getoond. 55.4.
Bediening en gebruik 55.4.5 Kinderslot Het kinderslot voorkomt onbedoeld gebruik van het apparaat door kinderen of het onbedoeld indrukken van de knoppen. Inschakelen van het kinderslot: Drukt u de knop Lock (5) 3 sec. lang in totdat de timerfunctie “Loc” zichtbaar wordt. In afgegrendelde toestand zijn alle knoppen behalve de hoofdschakelaar aan/uit (1) gedeactiveerd. De kookzones verwarmen verder volgens de daarvoor ingestelde kookstand.
Reiniging ► Als er vochtigheid het apparaat binnendringt, kunnen elektrische elementen beschadigd worden. Let erop dat er geen vocht door de ventilatieopeningen naar de binnenkant van het apparaat loopt. ► Het apparaat niet in water onderdompelen en niet in de vaatwasser zetten. ► Krab hardnekkig vuil niet af met harde voorwerpen. 56.
Storingen verhelpen 57.2 Storingsmeldingen Bij een storing verschijnt in het display een foutmeldingscode, die de oorzaak van de fout beschrijft. Garantie 58Afvoer van het oude apparaat Oude elektrische en elektronische apparaten bevatten vaak nog waardvolle materialen. Ze bevatten echter ook schadelijke stoffen, die voor hun functioneren en veiligheid noodzakelijk waren. In het huishoudelijk afval of bij verkeerde behandeling kunnen deze stoffen de menselijke gezondheid en het milieu schade aanbrengen. Zet uw oude apparaat daarom nooit bij het gewone huishoudelijk vuil.
Technische gegevens Bij rechtmatige reclamaties zullen wij het defecte apparaat naar ons bevinden repareren of tegen een apparaat vrij van gebreken omwisselen. Zichtbare defecten moeten binnen 14 dagen na levering aangetoond worden. Verdere claims zijn uitgesloten. Stelt u zich voor het indienen van een garantieclaim en het terugsturen van uw apparaat via onderstaand adres (altijd met bewijs van koop!) met ons in verbinding.
