Configuring Projector Network Settings
Use the Setup Menu that appears on the projection screen to configure basic network settings.
Perform operations using projector controls or the optionally available remote controller.
Note
To configure more advanced network settings, use the projector’s Web Service page (page
12). However, note that the Web Service page does not have a setting that corresponds to the
“Wireless LAN Info” item shown in the table below.

Wireless LAN Info Shows the current status of a wireless LAN connection.

IP Setting(LAN1)
Specifies how an IP address is specified when the projector is connected to a network.
Auto (initial default): Obtain an IP address automatically from a network DHCP server.
Manual: Manual IP address input.
Selecting the “Manual” option enables input for the following three items: “IP Address”,
“Subnet Mask”, and “Default Gateway”.
Note
This setting also affects the “LAN1 IP Settings” (page 21) below, which are on
the Web Service page.

Wireless LAN Function
Switches the projector’s wireless LAN function between “Enable” (initial default) and
“Disable”. This setting also affects the “Enable Wireless LAN” (page 17), which is on the
Web Service page.

Wireless LAN Mode
Select either of the settings below as the projector’s Wireless LAN Mode.
Access Point (initial default): In this mode, the projector operates as a wireless LAN
access point.
Client: In this mode, the projector operates as a wireless LAN client. Select this mode
when you want to connect the projector to an external wireless LAN access
point.

Applies changes to the projector that were made to the menu setting items included in
“Network Settings” 3 “Network Settings”.

Returns network settings to their factory defaults.
