Shooting Against Dark Backgrounds Using Red-eyeReduction Effectively When you use the flashto take photosof peoplein low lightconditions,their eyes sometimesglow red in the photograph. This is referredto as the red-eyeeffect and is causedby the lightof the flash beingreflected off the retinaof the eye.
