をお買い上げいた
だきまして、誠にありがとうございます。
WM-V1
は、レシーバーとマイクロホン（トランスミッター）で構成された、
キヤノン
HD
ビデオカメラ専用

のワイヤレスマイクロホンです。
WM-V1
を
使うと、様々な環境での 音声を収音することが できます。
WM-V1
は、レシーバーとマイクロホンの間で
Bluetooth
®
（ブルートゥー
ス）による無線通信を行います。レシーバーをビデオカメラと接続し、マ
イクロホンを被写体に取り付けると、ビデオカメラの内蔵マイクではとら
えにくい、遠く離れた被写体の音声でも収音して記録できます。また、
WM-V1
からの音声と、ビデオカメラの内蔵マイクからの音声をミックス
（混合）して記録することもできます。

ウィンドスクリーンについて
撮影するときに取り付けると、風や息によるノイズ（雑音）を低減できま
す。
屋外で撮影する場合は、取り付けをおすすめします。

レシーバーはビデオカメラに、マイクロホンは被写体に取り付けて使用し
ます。

胸部付近へ の取り付けはしないでください 。また、

マイクロ ホ ン が 不 安 定 な 状 態 で 取 り付けら れ て い る と、 衣 服 な ど に
当たり衣擦れ音などが収音される場合がありますので、確実に取り
付けてください。

による無線通信
で接続され、通信が可能な状態になると両方の通信確認用ランプ
が点滅から点灯に変わります。

ようにして取り付けてください。

撮影前のチェック
•
ビデオカメラにヘッドホン端子がある場合は、マイクロホンが動作して
いるか、ヘッドホンまたは付属のイヤホンを接続してから、声を出すな
どして収音の状態を確認してください。
•
レベルメーターの表示が可能なビデオカメラの場合は、レベルメータ
ーを表示して 音 量 の 状 態 を 確 認してくださ い 。
•
手動で音量を調節するときは、ビデオカメラで「マイクレベル」を選び、
M
（マニュアル）で設定してください。
• WM-V1
とビデオカメラの 両方の音声 をミックスして記録する場合 は、
ビデオカメラで「音声ミックス」を選び、音量のバランスを調整してく
ださい。
イヤ ホ ン を 使って マイクロホ ン の 音 声 を 確 認 す る
マイクロホンのイヤホン端子に付属のイヤホンを接続すると、マイクロホ
ンが収音している音声の状態を確認することができます。
また、レシーバーとマイクロホンにそれぞれ付属のイヤホンを接 続して、ト
ランシーバーとして会話に使用することもできます。
なお、
Bluetooth
®
による無線通信では、実際の音声とイヤホンからの音
声が少しずれて感じたり、周辺の音声に反響して聞こえたりすることがあ
りますが、故障 では ありませ ん。
Bluetooth

による無線通信について
• WM-V1
は、レシーバーとマイクロホンで
Bluetooth
®
による通信を行
い、自動的に接続されるように設定されています。なお、
WM-V1
以外
の
Bluetooth
®
機器と接続して通信することはできません。
•
マイクロ ホ ン を ビデ オカメラに近 づ け す ぎ ると、 電 波の 影 響 で、記 録
される音声にノイズが混入する場合があります。

ご注意
•
音声の収録中はマイクやウィンドスクリーンに触れないでください。ノ
イズが 記録されます。
•
電波塔、高圧線、一部の携帯電話の近くで使用すると、電波や高電圧
の影響を受けてノイズが記録されることがあります。
•
ビデオカメラにマイクを取り付けているときは、マイクを持ってビデオ
カメラを持ち運 ばないでください。
•
動作テストを行う場合は、マイクを叩いたり息を吹きかけたりせず、声
で確認してください。
•
マイクを 落 としたり、 叩 い た りしな いで く ださい。 強 い 振 動 や 衝 撃 は
故障の原因となります。製品はていねいに取り扱ってください。
•
分解して内部に触れないでください。正常に作動しないときは、キヤノ
ンサービスセンターにご相談ください。
•
直射日光下や炎天下の密閉された車内など、高温や多湿の場所で使用
したり、放 置したりしないでください 。
•
ビデオカメラをケースなどに収納するときは、ビデオカメラからマイク
を取りはずしてください。
電波に関するご注意
•
本製品には、電波法に基づく認証を受けた無線装置が内蔵されてお
り、証明ラベルは無線設備に添付されています。
•
本製品のうち、外国為替、および外国貿易法の規定により、戦略物資
等（または役務）に該当するものについては、日本国外への輸出に際し
て、日本国政府の輸出許可（または役務取引許可）が必要です。
電波干渉に関するご注意
この機 器の使 用周波数帯 では、電子レンジなどの産業・科学・医療用機
器のほか、工場の製造ライン等で使用されている移動体識別用の構内無
線局（免許を要する無線局）、および特定小電力無線局（免許を要しない
無線局）並びにアマチュア無線局（免許を要する無線局）が運用されてい
ます。

この機器を使用する前に、近くで移動体識別用の構内無線局、およ
び特定小電力無線局並びにアマチュア無線局が運用されていないこ
とを確 認して 下さ い。

万一、この機器から移動体識別用の構
内無線局に対して有害な電波
干渉の事例が発生した場合には、速やかに使用周波数を変更するか、
または電波の発射を停止した上、お客様相談窓口にご連絡いただき、
混信回避のための処置等（例えば、パーティションの設置など）につい
てご相 談下さい。

その他、この機器から移動体識別用の特定小電力無線局、あるいは
アマチュア無線局に対して有害な電波干渉の事例が発生した場合な
ど何かお困りのことが起きたときは、お客 様相 談窓 口へお問い合わせ
下さい。

お手入れ
•
柔らかい布で乾拭きしてください。シンナー、ベンジン、アルコール等
の揮 発性のものは使用しな いでください。
•
マイクロホンのイヤホン端子は、常にきれいにしておいてください。接
触不良の原因となります。マイクロホンを使用しないときは付属のイヤ
ホンキャップを装着してください。
•
ウィンドスクリーンは 水 洗 い はで き ません ので、濡れ たとき は乾いた 柔
らかい布で軽く拭き取り、自然に乾燥させてください。

Instructions
Thank you for purchasing the WM-V1 Wireless Microphone.
The WM-V1 consists of a receiver and a microphone (transmitter) and
was created for exclusive use with Canon camcorders*. The WM-V1
allows sound recording in a variety of different environments.
Bluetooth
®
wireless communication is used between the receiver and
microphone of the WM-V1. By attaching the receiver to the camcorder
and the microphone to the shooting subject, you can record sound from
far-away subjects that may be difficult to pick up using the camcorder’s
built-in microphone. You can also mix and record sound from the
WM-V1 and sound from the camcorder’s built-in microphone.
* The WM-V1 may not operate properly depending on your camcorder
model. Refer to the latest information for details on supported models.
Please read these instructions carefully before using the microphone.
After reading, make sure to store these instructions for future use. Refer
also to your camcorder’s instruction manual.
Using the windscreen
By attaching the windscreen to the microphone before shooting, you
can reduce noise caused by wind or breathing.
We recommend attaching the windscreen when shooting in outdoor
locations.
Preparations
The WM-V1 requires batteries (optional). Use two size AAA alkaline dry
batteries or two size A AA NiMH rechargeable batteries.

Slide and remove the receiver’s battery compartment lid (fig. 1).

Insert a battery so that the battery removal film is underneath
(fig. 1).

Close the battery compartment lid (fig. 1).

Repeat steps 1 to 3 to insert a battery into the microphone.
Attaching the receiver and microphone
Attach the receiver to the camcorder and the microphone to the
shooting subject.

Insert the straight plug of the connecting cable into the receiver’s
earphone jack (fig. 2).

Open the receiver’s clip, and attach it to the grip belt of the
camcorder (fig. 2).

Insert the right angle plug of the connecting cable into the
camcorder’s MIC jack (fig. 2).

Slide the power switch on the receiver to the ON position.
• The receiver’s communication indicator blinks blue.
5
Open the microphone’s clip, and attach it to the subject’s clothes.
• If the subject uses an electronic medical device such as a
pacemaker, do not attach the microphone near the subject’s chest
region. Do not use the WM-V1 near electronic medical devices or
other such devices.
• If the microphone is not attached securely, it may rub against the
subject’s clothes and rustling noises may be picked up. Make sure
to attach it securely.

Slide the power switch on the microphone to the ON position.
• The microphone’s communication indicator blinks blue.
• Bluetooth
®
wireless communication between the receiver and the
microphone is established automatically. When communication
is established, both of the communication indicators will remain
steadily lit in blue.

Place the windscreen on the microphone (fig. 3).
• Place the windscreen so that the microphone’s earphone jack is
visible from the top of the windscreen.

Turn on the camcorder.
• The
$
(wind cut) icon appears on the camcorder’s LCD screen.
Before shooting
• If your camcorder is equipped with a headphone jack, check whether
the microphone is functioning by connecting headphones or the
supplied earphone, speaking into the microphone, and monitoring the
sound that is picked up.
• If you can display an audio level indicator on your camcorder’s screen,
use the audio level indicator to check sound levels.
• If you want to adjust sound levels manually, select [Mic. Level] on the
camcorder and set it to M (manual).
• If you want to mix and record audio from both the WM-V1 and the
camcorder, select [Audio Mix] on the camcorder and adjust the audio
balance.
Checking microphone audio with the earphone
You can check the status of sound picked up with the microphone by
connecting the supplied earphone to the microphone’s earphone jack.
In addition, connecting the supplied earphones to both the receiver and
the microphone allows transceiver communication.
During Bluetooth
®
wireless communication, you may notice a slight lag
between the actual sound and the audio heard in the earphone, and
audio feedback may occur. These are not malfunctions.

• Bluetooth
®
wireless communication is used between the receiver
and microphone of the WM-V1, and connection is established
automatically. Bluetooth
®
communication between devices other than
the WM-V1 is not supported.
• If the microphone is too close to the camcorder, RF interference may
cause noise in the recorded sound. Keep the microphone at least 1 m
(3 ft.) away from the camcorder during use.
After using the WM-V1

Turn off the camcorder.

Turn off the receiver and microphone.
3
Disconnect the connecting cable from the camcorder’s MIC jack.

Remove the receiver from the camcorder.
5
Disconnect the connecting cable from the receiver.
IMPORTANT
• Do not touch the microphone or windscreen while recording, as this
will cause noise to be recorded.
• Using the microphone close to high-voltage equipment or to devices
that emit strong electromagnetic fields (high-voltage lines, electrical
towers, some cellular phones, etc.) may cause noise to be recorded.
• When carrying the camcorder with the microphone attached, be
sure to support the camera body. Never carry the camcorder by the
microphone.
• Test the microphone by speaking into it. Do not tap the microphone or
blow into it.
• Do not drop or jolt the microphone. This may damage the microphone
or impair its performance. Handle the microphone with care.
• Do not disassemble or touch the interior parts of the microphone.
Consult your dealer or a Canon Service Center if problems occur.
• Do not use or leave the microphone in hot, humid places such as
inside a car in hot weather or in direct sunlight.
• Do not leave the microphone attached when storing the camcorder in
a case, etc.
Maintenance
• Clean the units by dusting them lightly with a soft, dry cloth. Do not
use thinner, benzene, alcohol, or other volatile cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the microphone’s earphone jack clean at all times. The
microphone will not work properly if the terminals are dirty. Attach the
supplied earphone cap when the microphone is not in use.
• The windscreen cannot be washed. If it gets wet, pat it with a soft, dry
cloth and let it dry naturally.

Nous vous remercions d’avoir acheté le Microphone Surround Canon
SM-V1. Ce microphone a été exclusivement conçu pour être utilisé
avec les caméscopes Canon munis d’une mini griffe porte-accessoire
avancée compatible avec l’enregistrement en son Surround 5.1 canaux.
Avant d’utiliser le microphone, veuillez lire attentivement ces instructions.
Reportez-vous également au manuel d’instructions de votre caméscope.
Le microphone est équipé de 4 éléments transducteurs, un à chaque
coin. Les signaux audio de ces 4 canaux sont ensuite traités et
enregistrés en son Surround 5.1 canaux dans le caméscope. Pour
utiliser le SM-V1, le micrologiciel du caméscope doit être mis à jour à
l’aide de la carte mémoire fournie.
Une fois le micrologiciel mis à jour avec succès, lorsque vous fixez
le SM-V1 au caméscope, vous serez en mesure de changer la
directionnalité du microphone pour l’un des réglages suivants :

Canon]. Sélectionnez les réglages
de l’enregistrement audio en fonction de l’emplacement de la prise
de vue ou de l’effet souhaité pour ajouter un effet de profondeur et de
présence à vos enregistrements. Vous pouvez profiter de la lecture
en son Surround 5.1 canaux sur les équipements compatibles avec le
son Surround 5.1 canaux raccordés au caméscope à l’aide d’un câble
HDMI.
Mise à jour du micrologiciel du caméscope
Le micrologiciel du caméscope doit être mis à jour à l’aide de la carte
mémoire fournie. Pour obtenir plus de détails sur les fonctions du
caméscope, reportez-vous au manuel d’instructions du caméscope.

mémoire (à partir de la carte mémoire

Ouvrez les menus de configuration et sélectionnez le paramètre
[Firmware].
La version actuelle du micrologiciel du caméscope s’affichera.

Sélectionnez [OK].
Le caméscope redémarrera automatiquement et le micrologiciel sera
mis à jour.

Mettez hors tension le caméscope et retirez la carte mémoire
fournie.
Préparations
• Assurez-vous qu’ aucun périphérique n’est connecté à la prise MIC
(microphone) du caméscope.
• Si vous pouvez afficher l’indicateur de niveau du son sur l’écran de
votre caméscope, vous pouvez utiliser l’indicateur de niveau du son
comme référence pour la vérification des niveaux audio.
• Si votre caméscope est équipé d’une prise de sortie de casque
d’écoute, vous pouvez utiliser le casque d’écoute pour surveiller le
son et pour vérifier si le microphone fonctionne correctement avant de
commencer l’enregistrement.
• Mettez le caméscope hors tension avant de fixer ou de détacher le
microphone.
• Pour réduire le bruit causé par le vent ou par le souffle de l’opérateur,
nous vous recommandons de fixer la bonnette anti-vent (fig. 1) ; en
particulier lorsque que vous enregistrez en extérieur.
Fixation du caméscope

Mettez le caméscope hors tension.

Ouvrez le couvercle de la mini griffe porte-accessoire avancée et
faites glisser le microphone tout droit dans la mini griffe porte-
accessoire avancée (fig. 1).
Faites glisser le microphone dans le sens de la flèche au bas du
microphone jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette correctement à sa place.

Serrez la bague de verrouillage en la tournant dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre (fig.2).
Assurez-vous que le microphone ne se débranche pas lorsque vous
tournez la bague de verrouillage.

Attachez la bonnette anti-vent par l’avant et rabattez-la
délicatement de façon à ce qu’elle recouvre entièrement le
microphone (fig. 3).

Mettez le caméscope sous tension.
•
(mini griffe avancée) et

(Surround 5.1 canaux) apparaîtront
sur l’écran du caméscope lorsque le caméscope sera en mode
d’enregistrement ou de pause d’enregistrement.
• Le microphone intégré du caméscope se désactive
automatiquement.

Modifiez le mode de directionnalité du microphone avec le réglage
[Surround Mic Direction.] dans les menus de configuration du
caméscope.
Détachement du microphone

Mettez le caméscope hors tension.

Desserrez la bague de verrouillage dans le sens opposé des
aiguilles d’une montre.

IMPORTANT
• La carte mémoire fournie avec le SM-V1 ne peut être utilisée que pour
mettre à jour le micrologiciel d’un caméscope Canon compatible ;
elle ne peut pas être initialisée, ni utilisée pour l’enregistrement. Si
vous essayez d’initialiser la carte mémoire ou d’enregistrer dessus,
le message d’erreur [La carte mémoire est protégée en écriture]
apparaîtra, quelle que soit la position du commutateur LOCK de la
carte mémoire.
• Ne touchez pas le microphone ou la bonnette anti-vent pendant
l’enregistrement car du bruit sera enregistré.
• Utiliser le microphone à proximité d’équipement ou d’appareils
sous haute tension qui émettent des champs électromagnétiques
importants (lignes à haute tension, tours électriques, certains
téléphones portables, etc.) pourrait causer du bruit pendant
l’enregistrement
• Si un autre microphone est branché sur la prise MIC (microphone) du
caméscope pendant que le SM-V1 est attaché, le son sera capturé
par les deux microphones, ce qui affectera l’enregistrement audio
• Lorsque vous transportez le caméscope avec le microphone fixé
dessus, assurez-vous de maintenir le boîtier du caméscope. Ne
saisissez jamais le caméscope par le microphone.
• Le joint en bas de ce microphone (

) est conçu pour absorber
les chocs afin d’empêcher l’enregistrement de bruit causé par des
vibrations. Ne soumettez pas le caméscope à une force excessive
car cela risquerait de l’endommager. Faites attention de ne pas vous
pincer les doigts dans l’interstice directement au-dessus de la bague
de verrouillage (

).
• Testez le microphone en parlant dedans. Ne tapez pas sur le
microphone et ne soufflez pas dedans.
• Ne laissez pas tomber ou ne cognez pas le microphone. Cela pourrait
endommager le microphone ou réduire ses performances. Manipulez
le microphone avec précaution.
• Ne démontez pas et ne touchez pas les pièces internes du
microphone. Consultez votre revendeur ou un centre de service après
vente Canon si le problème persiste.
• N’utilisez pas et ne laissez pas le microphone dans des lieux chauds
et humides, comme dans une voiture fermée par temps chaud ou en
plein soleil.
• Assurez-vous qu’aucun corps étranger tel que des fragments de
métal ne se prenne dans la mini griffe porte-accessoire avancée du
caméscope.
• Ne laissez pas le microphone sur le caméscope lorsque vous rangez
celui-ci.
