Thank you for purchasing a Canon product. The Canon 10x30 IS II and 12x36 IS III prism binoculars are equipped with an Image Stabilizer that uses a vari-angle prism. Before using the binoculars, read this instruction booklet to familiarize yourself with the proper operation. Features zz High-performance Image Stabilizer binoculars for bird watching, spectator sports, theater events, and other everyday uses (the 10x30 IS II offers a magnification of 10x, and the 12x36 IS III offers a magnification of 12x).

Doing so may cause others to be hit by the binoculars and could result in a personal injury. 8) Fingers may be pinched when adjusting the width of the binoculars. Please be aware of this when the binoculars are being used by small children. 9) When used for a prolonged period, the rubber eye cups may irritate the skin around the eyes.

Be sure not to use batteries with a nominal voltage rating of 1.5V or higher or batteries which have no nominal voltage information. Using such batteries may result fire, generation of smoke, or personal injury.

Troubleshooting If there is a problem with the binoculars, first refer to the table below to see if you can resolve it. If the problem cannot be resolved, take the binoculars to your nearest Canon Service Center. Problem The image is not clear. The Image Stabilizer does not operate. When the Image Stabilizer is on, the binoculars make an unusual sound when shaken deeply. Probable Cause Corrective Measures The lens is dirty.
