Rechargeable Li-ion Battery
• DO NOT allow the battery to come into contact with liquids.
• DO NOT charge, use, or leave the battery in high-temperature
(above 140°F/60°C) locations.
• DO NOT attempt to charge the battery using an unsupported charger.
• Use the battery only for its intended purpose.
• Keep the battery away from heat and re.
• DO NOT connect the + and - terminals with metal objects such as wire.
DO NOT carry or store the battery with metal objects.
• DO NOT throw, hit, or damage the battery in any way.
• DO NOT solder any connections to the battery.
• DO NOT disassemble or modify the battery.
• DO NOT dispose of the battery with household waste.

Product, AC Adapter (Optional), or Car Adapter (Optional)
• If a foreign object is accidentally inserted into any product opening,
including slots, connectors, and ports, stop using the product immediately,
turn off the power, and disconnect all cables or remove the battery. Be
sure to remove any foreign object before you turn on the product.
• DO NOT use, charge, or store the product:
- Where it may come into contact with liquids
- Where condensation forms
- Where there is a lot of dust
- Where the temperature or humidity are extreme
- Near ames, a heater, or in direct sunlight
• DO NOT touch the connection ports with wet hands.
• DO NOT disassemble or alter the product.
• DO NOT pour chemicals and combustible sprays over the products.
• Use and store the product, other components, and packing bags out of the
reach of children.
• Remove the battery or disconnect the cord when shipping.
• If the product is not in use for long periods, remove the battery or
disconnect the cord before storing.
• When connecting the product to a computer using a USB cable and
both are powered by a vehicle, ensure you have a proper grounding
(-) connection to both the product and the computer. If either device is
improperly grounded, the current will travel through the USB cable causing
it to overheat and possibly catch re.
Rechargeable Li-ion Battery
• Keep away from infants. If ingested, contact emergency services
immediately.
• Stop using the battery if there are noticeable abnormalities such as smell,
heat, deformities, or discoloration.
• If liquid from the battery gets into your eyes, wash them immediately with
clean water. Contact emergency services immediately.
AC Adapter, Car Adapter
• Use only with the specied product.
• Insert the plug rmly into the AC power outlet.
• Use the AC Adapter with the standard AC power outlet (AC 100 V - 240 V
50/60 Hz) and the Car Adapter with DC 12 V supplies.
• DO NOT allow metal objects to come into contact with connectors and ports.
• DO NOT pull on the cord when disconnecting the AC Adapter cord or Car
Adapter from a power outlet. Hold the plug to disconnect an Adapter from
a power outlet.
• DO NOT damage, twist, severly bend, pull on, place objects on, or bind
the AC Adapter and Car Adapter.
• DO NOT allow the AC Adapter and Car Adapter cables to be pinched.
• DO NOT overload AC power outlet.
CAUTION

moderate injuries. Follow these guidelines to avoid injury.
Product
• DO NOT touch the blade or print head. Doing so could cause injury.
• DO NOT hold the product by the Media Compartment Cover or the Roll
Guide. There is a risk that the cover or guide could detach or the product
could fall.
• Be careful when opening the Media Compartment Cover and avoid the
hinges. There is a risk of pinching your ngers.
• When connecting cables and accessories, follow the applicable instructions.
• DO NOT touch the print head and the metal parts surrounding the print head.
• If the product is used for a long period of time, the highlighted product
parts may get hot enough to cause a low-temperature burn.
Rechargeable Li-ion Battery
If liquid from the battery gets onto skin or clothes, immediately rinse it with
water.
AC Adapter, Car Adapter
Make sure you can always access the AC Adapter cord so that you can
disconnect it immediately in an emergency.
Belt Clip
Make sure that the belt clip is attached securely to the product and the
wearer's belt.
General Precautions

• Observe all applicable regulations when disposing of these products.
• DO NOT remove the labels afxed to the product. These labels provide
operational information and indicate the product name and serial number.
• For more information about your model's electrical rating, manufacturer,
and model number, see the label attached to the base of your machine or
the label inside the battery compartment.
• Operate in a location where the temperature is between -4°F and 131°F
(-20°C and 55°C) and the humidity is between 10% and 90% (without
condensation).

Data transmission is always initiated by software, which is the passed down
through the MAC, through the digital and analog baseband, and nally to
the radio frequency (RF) chip. Several special packets are initiated by the
MAC. These are the only ways the digital baseband portion will turn on the
RF transmitter, which it then turns off at the end of the packet. Therefore,
the transmitter will be on only while one of the aforementioned packets is
being transmitted. In other words, this device automatically discontinue
transmission in case of either absence of information to transmit or
operational failure.
