x User’s Manual Maintenance The projector needs proper maintenance. You should keep the lens clean as dust, dirt or spots will project on the screen and diminish image quality. The only part you could replace yourself is the lamp. If any other parts need replacing, contact your dealer or qualified service personnel. When cleaning any part of the projector, always switch off and unplug the projector first. Warning: Never open any of the covers on the projector except the lamp cover.

Replace the lamp when: x The image becomes darker and hues become weaker after a lamp has been for a long period of time. x The projector lamp LED indicator turns into red. Refer to section titled “Indicator Messages” for further details. w The lamp becomes high temperature after turning off the projector with the power button. If you touch the lamp, you may scald your finger.
