where serial number or date code has been removed or defaced.

Ceiling Grille Installation

To assemble the MCDMOD Speaker to the MCD2X2UGRILLE, position the Speaker Module over the

portion of the Grille with the perforated speaker holes. On the MCDMOD Speaker there are two Tabs and

a Module Clip. The MCD2X2UGRILLE has two horizontal Slots located on one side of the grille edge. Install the

MCDMOD Speaker on a slight angle and slide the Module Tabs into the Grille Slots . These Tabs should

go through completely so the module is right up against grille edge. Then lower the module down onto the

grille surface, and while doing this the Module Clip should clamp down onto the grille edge , securing the

the Speaker Module flat and flush on to the MCD2X2UGRILLE.

MCDMOD/MCD2X2UGRILLE Installation

1. For a 2’ x 4’ ceiling tile space opening, remove the

existing ceiling tile and cut the tile to 23-1/2” long.

2. Place the MCD2X2UGRILLE into ceiling opening,

making sure the corner with perforated speaker

holes is situated on corner of existing ceiling grid.

3. Place the supplied Tile Bridge onto the ceiling grid

and slide it to the center, allow MCD2X2UGRILLE

to rest upon the Tile Bridge lip.

4. Re-install the cut ceiling tile back onto the ceiling

grid and Tile Bridge lip.

5. For a 2’ x 2’ ceiling tile space opening, remove

the existing tile and place the MCD2X2UGRILLE

directly onto the ceiling grid.
