If you have a pacemaker, ensure that you are using the handheld in accordance with the safety requirements associated with your particular pacemaker, which may include the following: • Always keep the handheld more than 20 cm (approximately eight inches) from the pacemaker when the handheld is turned ON.

As the unit contains a lithium-ion battery, neither the handheld nor the lithium battery should be disposed of in fire. Dispose of the lithium battery in accordance with the laws and regulations in your area governing disposal of such cell types. To recharge the battery, use approved battery chargers only. Keep the battery away from children.

Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the handheld or any accessories to rain or moisture. Adjust only those controls that are covered in this manual. An improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the handheld, charging unit, or accessory to its normal operation.
