ENGLISH SET UP & USE COOL MODE DEHUMIDIFICATION MODE Ideal for hot weather when you need to cool the room. To set operation of the appliance correctly, press the + or – buttons until the desired temperature is displayed. (See Fig. 7) • I t is recommended that the dehumidification drain and drain hose can be used for continuous drainage.
ENGLISH SET UP & USE TIMER SWING INDICATOR LIGHT • To set the AUTO STOP timer. When the unit is ON, press the TIMER button. When this light is illuminated, it indicates that the air swing is activated from the remote and the louvers will move up and down. • Press the + or – button to select the AUTO TIME by 1 hour increments, up to 24 hours. The LED Display will indicate the remaining time. Press the TIMER button again.
ENGLISH SET UP & USE OPERATING FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY INSTALLATION (BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED) (1) Slide open the battery compartment cover. (2) Insert 2 × “AAA”batteries as shown. (3) Slide back the battery cover. CAUTION: Use only AAA or IEC R03 1.5V alkaline batteries. Remove the batteries if the remote is not used for a month or longer. Do not attempt to recharge the batteries. Both batteries should be replaced at the same time. Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire as they man explode.

Draining in Dehumidify mode • I t is recommended that the dehumidification drain and drain hose be used for continuous drainage.

ENGLISH SET UP & USE WATER DRAINAGE FOR COOLING AND HEAT MODES This air conditioner is equipped with auto water evaporation so the water compartment would not typically fill in cooling or heating mode unless there is high humidity. Water drainage will generally only be required at the end of the season for these modes. (see START-END OF SEASON OPERATIONS). NOTE: FULL TANK - When the water level reaches a predetermined level, the “full tank” indicator light located on the control panel of the unit goes on.
ENGLISH SET UP & USE Continuous Draining for Dehumidification Mode Unplug the unit from the power source. Remove the drain cap located in the back center of the unit. While doing this operation some residual water may spill so have a drip pan (not supplied) to collect the water. Connect the drain hose (supplied) as shown in the diagram. The water can be continuously drained through the hose into a floor drain or bucket. Turn on the unit.
ENGLISH CLEANING & CARE CLEANING WARNING: B efore cleaning or maintenance, turn the appliance off by pressing the button on the control panel or button on the remote control. Unplug from the electrical outlet. CLEANING THE CABINET You should clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth then dry with a dry cloth. • Never saturate the air conditioner with water. • Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance. • Never spray insecticide liquids or similar near the air conditioner.
ENGLISH TROUBLESHOOTING & WARRANTY BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE IF THE AIR CONDITIONER FAILS TO OPERATE: A) Check to make sure that the air conditioner is plugged in securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it in again securely. B) C heck for a blown circuit fuse or a tripped main circuit breaker. Ce climatiseur est équipé d’une évaporation automatique de l’eau pour que le compartiment d’eau ne remplirait généralement pas en mode refroidissement à moins qu’il y ait une humidité élevée. Le vidange de l’eau ne sera généralement nécessaire qu’à la fin de la saison (voir OPÉRATIONS DE DÉBUT-FIN DE SAISON en mode refroidissement.
FRANÇAIS CONFIGURATION ET UTILISATION VIDANGE CONTINUE POUR LE MODE DE DÉSHUMIDIFICATION Débranchez l’appareil de la source d’alimentation. Retirez le bouchon de vidange situé au centre arrière de l’unité. Lors de cette opération, de l’eau résiduelle peut se répandre. Ayez donc une lèchefrite (non fournie) pour recueillir l’eau. Branchez le tuyau de vidange (fourni) comme indiqué sur le schéma. L’eau peut être évacuée en continu par le tuyau dans un siphon de sol ou un seau. Allumez l’appareil.
FRANÇAIS NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN NETTOYAGE Avant le nettoyage ou l’entretien, éteignez l’appareil en appuyant sur la touche sur le panneau de commande ou la touche sur la télécommande. Débranchez-le de la prise électrique. NETTOYAGE DU CABINET Vous devez nettoyer l’appareil avec un chiffon légèrement humide puis sécher avec un chiffon sec. • Ne saturez jamais le climatiseur avec de l’eau. • N’utilisez jamais d’essence, d’alcool ou de solvants pour nettoyer l’appareil.

Este aire acondicionado está equipado con evaporación automática de agua para que el compartimento del agua no se llene en condiciones normales durante el modo frío excepto en condiciones de humedida excesiva. Generalmente, el drenaje de agua solo será necesario al final de la temporada (ver OPERACIONES DE INICIO/FIN DE TEMPORADA en modo enfriamiento).

Retire la tapa de drenaje ubicada en la parte trasera central de la unidad. Mientras realiza esta operación, es posible que se derrame algo de agua residual, así que tenga una bandeja de goteo (no incluida) para recoger el agua. Conecte la manguera de drenaje (incluida) como se muestra en el diagrama.
ESPAÑOL LIMPIEZA Y CUIDADO LIMPIEZA Antes de la limpieza o el mantenimiento, apague el aparato presionando el botón en el panel de control o el botón en el control remoto. Desconéctelo de la toma de corriente.
