OPERATION Controls The hood is operated using the joystick control located on the front edge of the hood. Fig. 1. Lights - Push the joystick upward to turn the lights on to low. Push again for high and again to turn the lights off. LIGHTS BLOWER SPEED (-) OFF BLOWER SPEED (+) ON Blower Speed (-) Off - With the blower motor on. Push the joystick to the left to reduce the blower speed to the desired level. Pushing the joystick past the lowest speed will turn the blower off.
HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires two halogen bulbs(included) (Type T3, 12 Volt, 20 Watt Max, G4 Base). WARNING: Always switch off the electrical supply before carrying out any operation on the appliance. To change bulbs: 1. Open the cover by prying from the proper slots. Fig. 3. 2. Remove the bulbs by pulling sideways. FIG. 3 (DO NOT ROTATE). CAUTION: Bulbs may be hot. 3. Replace with Type T3, 12 Volt, 20 Watt Max bulbs.

STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS Special structure considerations must be made to ensure proper installation. The mounting bracket needs to mounted to 2” nominal lumber in the six mounting holes. ROUGH-IN ELECTRICAL This hood is corded. A receptacle in the ceiling or wall is required. Incoming power should be located as shown in Fig. 10 (top view) or Fig. 11 (front view). INSTALL HOOD 1. Flip hood cover down. Remove panel by unscrewing thumb screw. Remove grease filter and charcoal filter. Fig. 13. 2. Separate the hood parts: a. Remove the control box connector. Fig. 14. b. Remove the lighting connector. Fig. 14. c. Remove the sensor box from the mount. Fig. 14. 3. Separate the hood body from the blower frame by unscrewing the six (6) mounting screws (Fig. 15). Remove the blower frame from the shipping board. 4.
6. For non-ducted applications attach the non-duct plate with four (4) M4 x 9.5 pan head screws. Make sure power cord is behind plate. Fig. 17. 7. Attach the non-duct plenum box with with four (4) M4 x 9.5 Pan Head Screw. Fig. 18. 8. Place split bushing around power cord and snap into non-duct plate. Plug power cord into receptacle. 9. Take the hood body slide it in from the front until it touches the wall, then push the body upward to the ceiling at desired location.
INSTALL FILTERS CHARCOAL FILTER 1. If the hood is non-ducted, insert the charcoal filter into the pocket behind the grease filter. If the hood is ducted, discard the charcoal filter. Fig. 21. 2. FONCTIONNEMENT Commandes La hotte fonctionne avec le contrôle à levier qui se trouve sur le bord avant de la hotte. Fig. 1. AMPOULES HALOGÈNES Cette hotte de cuisine nécessite deux ampoules halogènes (Type T3, 12 V, 20 W max., Base G4). AVERTISSEMENT : Désactivez toujours l’alimentation avant d’effectuer toute opération sur l’appareil. Pour changer les ampoules : 1. EXIGENCES STRUCTURALES Il faut tenir compte de considérations structurales spéciales pour assurer une installation appropriée. Les supports de montage doivent être montés sur un bois d’œuvre nominal de 5 cm (2 po) dans les six trous de montage. L’ancrage mural creux ne doit pas être utilisé. Fig. 9.
ÉLECTRICITÉ BRUTE Cette hotte est câblée. Il faut une prise au plafond ou au mur. Le courant d’entrée devrait se trouver à l’endroit indiqué dans la Fig. 10 (vue de dessus) ou la Fig. 11 (vue avant). AVERTISSEMENT : Le câblage électrique doit être réalisé par une personne qualifiée, conformément aux réglementations et normes en vigueur.
INSTALLATION DE LA HOTTE 1. Rabaissez le couvercle de la hotte. Retirez le panneau en dévissant la vis à serrage à main. Retirez le filtre à charbon et filtre à graisse. Fig. 13. 2. Séparez les pièces de la hotte : a. Retirez le connecteur de la boîte de commande. Fig. 14. b. Retirez le connecteur d’éclairage. Fig. 14. c. Retirez la boîte du capteur du montage Fig. 14. 3. Séparez le corps de la hotte du cadre de la soufflante en dévissant les six (6) vis de montage (Fig. 15).
6. Pour les applications sans canalisation, installez la plaque sans canalisation avec quatre (4) vis à tête cylindrique M4 x 9,5. Assurez-vous que le cordon est derrière la plaque. Fig. 17. 7. Installez la boîte du collecteur sans canalisation avec quatre (4) vis à tête cylindrique M4 x 9,5. Fig. 18. 8. Placez la bague fendue autour du cordon et enclenchez dans la plaque sans canalisation. Branchez le cordon dans la prise. 9.
INSTALLEZ LES FILTRES FILTRE À CHARBON 1. Si la hotte n’est pas canalisée, insérez le filtre à charbon dans la pochette derrière le filtre à graisse. FUNCIONAMIENTO Controles La campana se opera mediante la palanca de control ubicada en el borde delantero de la campana. Fig. 1. Luces: Mueva la palanca hacia arriba para encender las luces en baja intensidad. Muévala nuevamente para llevarlas a la máxima intensidad y de vuelta para apagarlas. FOCOS HALÓGENOS Esta campana para cocina necesita dos focos halógenos (incluidos) (Tipo T3, de 12 Voltios, 20 Vatios máximos, G4 Base). ADVERTENCIA: siempre desconecte el suministro eléctrico antes de realizar cualquier operación en el artefacto. Para cambiar los focos: 1. Abra la tapa haciendo palanca desde las ranuras correspondientes. Fig. 3. 2. Retire los focos tirando de los costados. (NO FIG. 3 LOS HAGA GIRAR). PRECAUCIÓN: los focos pueden estar calientes. 3.

REQUISITOS ESTRUCTURALES Para asegurar una correcta instalación, se deben tener en cuenta las consideraciones estructurales especiales. El soporte de montaje se debe montar en un listón nominal de 2" en los seis orificios de montaje. No se deben usar paredes de yeso huecas. Fig. 9.
INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA OCULTA Esta campana posee cables. Se necesita un receptáculo en el techo o la pared. La energía entrante se debe ubicar como se muestra en las Figuras 10 (vista superior) u 11 (vista frontal). ADVERTENCIA: una persona capacitada debe realizar el trabajo del cableado eléctrico conforme a los códigos y estándares correspondientes.
INSTALACIÓN DE LA CAMPANA CONECTOR DE ILUMINACIÓN 1. Voltee la cubierta de la campana hacia abajo. Retire el panel destornillando el tornillo de mano. Retire el filtro de grasas y el de carbón. Fig. 13. 2. Separe las piezas de la campana: a. Retire el conector de la caja de control. Fig. 14. b. Retire el conector de iluminación. Fig. 14. c. Retire la caja del sensor del montaje. Fig. 14. 3. Separe el cuerpo de la campana del marco del soplador destornillando los seis (6) tornillos de montaje (Fig. 15).
6. Para aplicaciones sin entubar, fije la placa sin conducto con cuatro (4) Tornillos de Cabeza Troncocónica de M4 x 9.5. Asegúrese que el cable de alimentación esté detrás de la placa. Fig. 17. 7. Coloque el casquillo partido alrededor del cable de alimentación y haga que encaje en la placa sin conducto. Enchufe el cable de alimentación en el receptáculo. 9.
INSTALACIÓN DE FILTROS FILTRO DE CARBÓN 1. Si la campana está sin entubar, inserte el filtro de carbón en la cavidad que está detrás del filtro de grasas. Si la campana está entubada, descarte el filtro de carbón. Fig. 21. 2. Inserte el filtro de grasas. Fig. 22. 3. Vuelva a instalar el panel y fíjelo con tornillos de mano. 4.
