INSTALL THE DUCTWORK ROOF CAP ROUND DUCT NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, use only metal ductwork. 1.Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. 2. A straight, short duct run will allow the hood to perform most efficiently. 3. Long duct runs, elbows, and transitions will reduce the performance of the hood. Use as few of them as possible. Larger ducting may be required for best performance with longer duct runs. 4. Install a roof or wall cap.

Non-ducted recirculation configuration Purchase a Non-ducted recirculation KIT from your dealer (Model NDIS170). 1. Insert the non-ducted recirculation plenum through the support frame openings. Secure the non-ducted recirculation plenum using two (2) brackets and four (4) mounting screws (3.9x9.5mm). Fix a flexible duct to the duct connector of the non-ducted recirculation plenum. 2. Secure the upper flue to the support frame with the mounting screws 3.9x9.5mm (air vents must be up). 3.
INSTALLATION OF GLASS FRAME (Optional) GLASS FRAME Purchase a Glass Frame from your dealer (Model GSIS170). 1. Fit the glass frame above the hood. 2. Fit the supplied adhesive pads on the glass frame in correspondence to its fixing screws in order to prevent the glass from breaking. 3. Fix the (3) supplied brackets to the hood with mounting screws (3.9x6mm). 4. Adjust the position of the glass frame and fix it by means the mounting screws (M4x20mm).
MOUNT HOOD TO SUPPORT FRAME 1. Install the hood to support frame by (6) mounting screws (3.9x9.5mm), minding that the controls are on the proper side. 2. Make electrical connections (refer to the section “WIRING”). 3. Remove the two temporary fixing screws of the lower flue and set it in place on the hood. WIRING MOUNTING SCREWS (3.9X9.5MM) WIRING BOX COVER Note: This range hood must be properly grounded.
MAINTENANCE Grease Filters The grease filters should be cleaned after every 30 hours of operation. This range hood has an operation timer which will alert you after every 30 hours of use by lighting a red LED above the “blower speed 0-1 button”. Use a warm detergent solution. Grease filters are dishwasher safe. To take off the grease filters: at the handle, push the stop inwards and pull the filters downwards. GREASE FILTERS Charcoal Filter The charcoal filter should be changed every 6 months.

The light switch turns the halogen lights on and off. Push the light switch once to turn the lights ON - push a second time to turn the lights ON to a brighter level - push a third time to turn the lights OFF.
HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires four (4) halogen bulbs (max 20W, 12V, TYPE MR16 bulb shielded, GU 5.3 Base). Fixer le conduit supérieur à la structure de support à l’aide des vis d’assemblage 3.9x9.5mm (les prises d’air doivent être tournées vers le haut). 3.
MONTAGE DE LA VITRE VITRE (Option) Procurez-vous le Vitre (Modele GSIS170) chez votre fournisseur. 1. Installer la vitre sur la hotte en l’enfilant par le haut. 2. Placer sur la vitre les rondelles adhésives, fournies en équipement, en face des vis de fixation de la vitre, afin d’éviter des bris de verre. 3. Fixer à la hotte les (3) équerres fournies en équipement au moyen de vis d’assemblage (3.9x6mm). 4. Régler la position de la vitre, puis serrer les vis d’assemblage (M4x20mm).
CONNEXION DU SYSTEME D’EVACUATION 1. Approcher maintenant la hotte à la partie inférieure de la structure de support et raccorder le tuyau d'évacuation de l'air à la bride de jonction. 2. Reliez la bride de jonction au système d’évacuation qui se trouve au-dessus au moyen d’un tuyau rond en métal de 6” (15cm). 3. Utilisez du ruban pour tuyauterie afin de rendre toutes les jonctions sures et étanches.
ASSEMBLAGE DU FILTRE (MODELE RECYCLANT L’AIR) 1. Procurez-vous un filtre à charbon (FILTER SQUARE - cod.B03300488) chez votre fournisseur. 2. Installer le filtre en enfilant les 2 languettes du filtre dans le logement prévu à cet effet et en le faisant tourner vers le haut.

Decida donde va a colocar el tubo de extracción entre la campana y la parte exterior. 2. Un recorrido de tubo corto y recto permitirá a la campana funcionar de manera más eficaz. 3. Los recorridos largos de tubo, codos y manguitos impiden el buen funcionamiento de la campana. Use el menor número de ellos posible. Para usos prolongados es necesario un tubo de evacuación del aire de mayor diámetro.

Fije el deflector con 2 escuadras y 4 tornillos de montaje (3.9x9.5mm). Fije un tubo flexible a la brida del deflector. 2. Fije el tubo decorativo superior a la estructura(armazón) de soporte con los tornillos de montaje 3.9x9.5mm (los respiraderos deben estar hacia arriba). 3.
MONTAJE DEL CRISTAL (Opcional) CRISTAL Compre el Cristal (Modelo GSIS170) a su proveedor habitual. 1. Coloque el cristal en la campana introduciéndolo desde arriba. 2. Coloque en el cristal los resguardos adhesivos suministrados, en correspondencia con los tornillos de fijación, para evitar su posible rotura. 3. Fije a la campana las (3) escuadras suministradas con tornillos de montaje (3.9x6mm). 4. Regule la posición del cristal y ajuste los tornillos (M4x20mm).
MONTAJE DE LA CAMPANA AL ARMAZÓN DE SOPORTE 1. Fije la campana a la estructura de soporte utilizando los tornillos de montaje (3.9x9.5mm) y prestando atención en que los mandos queden del lado correcto. 2. Realice la conexión eléctrica (consulte el apartado “Instalación eléctrica”). 3. Remueva los 2 tornillos de fijación provisorios del tubo inferior y apoye el tubo sobre la campana. INSTALACION ELECTRICA Nota: Este tipo de campana tiene que ser conectada a tierra cuidadosamente.
MANTENIMIENTO Filtros antigrasa Los filtros antigrasa deben limpiarse a menudo: después de unas 30 horas de funcionamiento, el diodo rojo del “mando velocidad 1” parpadea indicando que hay que limpiar los filtros antigrasa. Use un detergente que no sea fuerte. Los filtros antigrasa se pueden meter en el lavavajillas. Para extraer los filtros antigrasa, empuje de las manillas hacia dentro y tire de los filtros hacia abajo. FILTROS ANTIGRASA Filtro al carbón El filtro debe cambiarse cada seis meses.
