PRODUCT INFORMATION
BEHR® Multi-Surface Roof Paint is a premium quality, durable, 100% acrylic latex at nish. This coating is mildew and algae
resistant and will not discolor or yellow when exposed to typical high roof temperatures. It has excellent adhesion to various
types of roong materials and is tintable to match a variety of custom colors.
RECOMMENDED USES:

SURFACE PREPARATION:
• Replace brittle or cracked shingles. Clean all roof surfaces.
• Previously coated surfaces should be wire brushed or
scraped to remove all loose coating.
• Remove mildew with a mildew stain removing product.
• On galvanized metal, use a diluted solution of a product
such as BEHR PREMIUM® Concrete & Masonry Cleaner &
Etcher No. 991 to prepare surface.
• If applying on wood shakes, clean with a product such as
BEHR PREMIUM All-In-One Wood Cleaner No. 63. Follow
directions on product labels.
• Rinse thoroughly and allow a minimum of 24 hours to dry.
• Prime all metal, asphalt and wood surfaces with a
product such as BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® Exterior Multi-
Surface Primer & Sealer No. 436 or Kilz Adhesion.
Follow directions on product label.

Exterior Multi-Surface Primer & Sealer No. 436 on properly
prepared surfaces.
CLEAN UP:
Clean all tools and equipment with clean water. For proper
disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact
your household refuse collection service.
CAUTIONS/LIMITATIONS:
• Protect from freezing.
• For best results, apply at temperatures between
50°F - 90°F. Temperatures above 90°F may aect the
application such as drying too fast. Avoid painting in
direct sun. NOTE: If the surface is hot to the touch it
should be considered too hot to apply this coating.
• Allow two weeks before washing or cleaning for full cure.
• Shelf life under normal conditions is two years unopened.
CAUTION: Roof surfaces may become extremely slippery
when wet. Avoid walking on surface while moisture is
present. This product is not a re retardant.
• Do not use if rain or heavy dew is expected within 24 hours.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Warning! Causes eye and skin irritation. Wear protective
clothing, gloves, eye, and face protection. Do not eat, drink,
or smoke when using this product. Take o contaminated
clothing and wash it before reuse. Wash hands thoroughly
after handling. Dispose of unused, contents, container and
other contaminated wastes in accordance with local, state,
federal and provincial regulations.
First aid: If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several
minutes and remove contacts if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing and get medical attention if eye irritation
persists. If on skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
If swallowed: Rinse mouth and get medical attention
if you feel unwell.
