BEARS AROUND THE BIRCH TREE

NOTES:

 Choose an appropriate location for your fountain.

 While Beckett’s fountains are designed to operate as

splash free as possible, some water splashing out of the

fountain is inevitable. Place your fountain in a location

where any splashing will not cause damage.

 Keep your fountain full of water and clear of dirt to ensure

proper functioning of the pump.

 Escoja un lugar apropiado para su fuente.

 Aunque las fuentes de Beckett están diseñadas para

operar sin que salpique el agua, va a ser inevitable que el

agua salpique un poco alrededor de la fuente. Ponga su

fuente en un lugar que no cause daños si el agua salpica.

 Mantenga su fuente llena de agua y limpia de residuos y

mugre para asegurar un adecuado funcionamiento de la

bomba.

STEP 1: Place the Fountain on a level, water tolerant surface, away from falling leaves.

PASO 1: Coloque el Fuente en un riegue la superficie tolerante, lejos de caerse hojas.

STEP 2: Set the pump’s flow control to max. Place the Pump in the center of the Basin.

PASO 2: Fije el flujo del agua de la Bomba al Máximo. Coloque la bomba en el centro de la base.

STEP 3: Feed the electrical Cord down through the Basin's Center Pipe and route the Cord out through the Cord Exit

Notch.

PASO 3: Pase el Cables Eléctrico a través del Tubo Central del base y guíelo a través de la Muesca de Salida.

STEP 4: Attach the discharge tubing to pump’s discharge. Position the Fountain Top onto the Basin.

PASO 4: Conecte el tubo de descarga de la bomba de descarga. Con mucho cuidado, posicione la Tapa de la Fuente

en la Base.

STEP 5: Position the Bird onto the Fountain.

PASO 5: Posicione la Tapa de la Fuente en la Base.

STEP 6: Fill the Basin with water. Do not allow the Pump to run dry!

PASO 6: Llene el Base de agua. ¡No permita que la Bomba funcione seca!

STEP 7: Attach the light cord to the transformer, Plug the transformer and pump electrical cord into a properly grounded

GFCI outlet.

PASO 7: Conecte el cable de luz al transformador, Enchufe el transformador y la bomba de cable eléctrico en un

tomacorriente GFCI de tierra adecuada.

STEP 8: To adjust the Fountain’s flow rate, unplug the Pump electrical cord from the outlet and adjust the Pump’s flow

control. Repeat above steps until you achieve the desired flow.

PASO 8: Si decide ajustar el flujo del agua en la fuente, desconecte el cordón eléctrico de la Bomba, y ajuste el control

del agua en la Bomba hasta lograr el flujo deseado.

TROUBLE SHOOTING - LOCALIZACIÓN DE FALLAS If your FOUNTAIN PUMP fails to operate:  Check the circuit breaker and try another outlet to verify that power is supplied to the Pump.  Check the water level in the Fountain. The Pump requires a minimum water depth of 2” to operate properly. Running the Pump without sufficient water can damage the pump.  Check the setting of the Flow Control on the Pump. Check the Pump Discharge and Intake Tube for dirt and debris. Clean if necessary.
