CAUTION!

Metra recommends disconnecting the negative bat

tery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle

manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local

Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate

controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be con

nected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also,

do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the

vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition

and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

GMOS-06 Connections to be made From the 16-pin harness with stripped leads to the aftermarket radio: The following wires are for the aftermarket radios that have navigation built in: • Connect the Light Green wire to the parking brake wire (if applicable). • Connect the (2) Red wires to the accessory wire. • Connect the Blue/Pink wire to the speed sense wire (if applicable). Note: If installing the ASWC-1, there will be an accessory wire in the 12-pin harness to connect as well.

GMOS-06 Installing the GMOS-06 Adjusting the GMOS-06 Audio Level Adjustment: • With the vehicle and radio turned on, turn the volume up 3/4 of the way. • Locate the end of the GMOS-06 with the 16-pin harness with stripped leads. • With a small screwdriver, adjust the potentiometer clockwise to raise the audio level; counterclockwise to lower the audio level. • Once at a desired level, the audio level adjustment is complete. • Connect the 16-pin harness with stripped leads into the interface.

GMOS-06 Instalación del GMOS-06 Ajuste del GMOS-06 Ajuste del nivel de audio: • Con el vehículo y el radio encendidos, aumente el volumen hasta 3/4 de su totalidad. • Localice el extremo de la GMOS-06 con el arnés de 16 pins con conectores pelados. • Con un pequeño destornillador, ajuste el potenciómetro hacia la derecha para aumentar el nivel de audio y hacia la izquierda para disminuir el nivel de audio. • Una vez que haya llegado al nivel deseado, el ajuste del nivel de audio está completo.
