Verwendungszweck multistreamer Der multistreamer ermöglicht schnurlose Audioübertragung zwischen Geräten der Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik, die den A2DP Bluetooth Standard unterstützen, und audifon Hörsystemen mit „Wireless Connectivity“-Funktion. Hiermit erklärt audifon, dass sich der audifon multistreamer in Übereinstimmung mit den grundlegenden Anforderungen und den übrigen einschlägigen Bestimmungen der Richtlinie 1999/5/ EG befindet.

1. Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung 1.1 Batterien einsetzen Der audifon multistreamer verwendet zwei Batterien vom Typ AAA , 1,5 Volt. Zur Inbetriebnahme des audifon multistreamers setzen Sie Batterien in das Batteriefach ein: 1. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefaches wie dargestellt. 2. Legen Sie die Batterien wie dargestellt in das Batteriefach ein. Bitte beachten Sie die Polaritätsangaben + / - auf den Batterien und am Zubehör.
1.2 Batterie-Ende-Signal DE Im Betrieb zeigt Ihnen ein Blinken der roten Kontrollleuchte im Abstand von 5 Sekunden das Ende der Batterie-Lebensdauer an. Können Funktionen des multistreamers wegen geringer Batteriespannung nicht ausgeführt werden, blinkt die Kontrollleuchte zweimal rot.

Fernbedienungsfunktion DE 2.1 Seitenwahlschalter R R +L L 1 Im Falle des Tragens zweier Hörgeräte ermöglicht Ihnen der Seitenwahlschalter das gezielte Ändern der Lautstärke oder des Hörprogramms am ausgewählten Gerät. 2 3 4 Die Position des Seitenwahlschalters bestimmt, auf welcher Ohrseite die Einstellungen vorgenommen werden.
2.2 Lautstärkewahl R R +L L 1 2 3 4 Bei audifon Hörgeräten mit „Wireless Connectivity“-Funktion kann die Lautstärke über den multistreamer schrittweise verändert werden. Die Änderung erfolgt je nach Einstellung des Seitenwahlschalters für das linke/rechte Gerät oder beidseitig. Für ein ausgewogenes Verhalten Ihrer Hörgeräte sollte der Seitenwahlschalter auf beidseitig (R+L) eingestellt sein. Die Änderung der Lautstärke wird durch das Aufleuchten der grünen Kontrollleuchte am multistreamer angezeigt.
2.3 Auswahl der Hörprogramme R R +L L 1 Ihr Hörgerätespezialist hat mit Ihnen gemeinsam eine Anpassung an unterschiedliche Hörsituationen vorgenommen und diese bestimmten Hörprogrammen zugeordnet. Sie können zwischen diesen Programmen mit den Tasten 1–4 wechseln. 2 3 DE 4 Hinweis: Lautstärkeregelung und Programmwahl sind optionale Funktionen. 2.4 Tastensperre R R +L L 1 2 3 4 Mit der Tastensperre Ihres multistreamers verhindern Sie das unbeabsichtigte Betätigen von Tasten – z.B. beim Transport in der Hosentasche – und die damit verbundenen Funktionsänderungen. Die Tastensperre wird durch Schieben des Schalters auf das Vorhängeschloss-Symbol aktiviert. Bei aktivierter Tastensperre befindet sich Ihr multistreamer automatisch im Energiesparmodus.
3. Audioübertragung via Bluetooth DE Die Übertragung von Signalen von Audiogeräten, die den A2DP Bluetooth Standard unterstützen, wird in zwei Schritten hergestellt. Zunächst koppeln Sie Ihren multistreamer mit der SignalQuelle. Dann stellen Sie die Übertragung und Wiedergabe zwischen dem multistreamer und Ihren Hörgeräten her. 3.1 Bluetooth-Kopplung herstellen Sie können Ihren multistreamer mit kompatiblen Bluetooth-Geräten wie folgt verbinden: R R +L L 1 2 3 4 1.
3.2 Audioübertragung zu Hörgeräten herstellen Um eine Audioübertragung zu Ihren Hörgeräten herstellen zu können, müssen Sie den multistreamer mit angeschlossener Schlaufen-Antenne um den Hals tragen. Nur so kann eine ideale Signalübertragung garantiert werden. Schließen Sie die Schlaufen-Antenne wie dargestellt an. Die Zuordnung der Stecker ist frei wählbar. Um die Audioübertragung zu Ihren Hörgeräten herzustellen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: 1.
3.3 Übertragung trennen DE Zur vorrübergehenden Trennung der Verbindung wählen Sie am multistreamer ein reguläres Hörprogramm aus (z.B. Programm 1). Programm 3 führt Sie zurück zu Ihrer laufenden Audioübertragung. Um eine Kopplung zu trennen, schalten Sie die BluetoothFunktion am multistreamer aus. Bitte halten Sie hierzu den Bluetooth-Knopf gedrückt, bis die rote Anzeige kurz aufleuchtet und das blaue Blinken erlischt.

D irekter Audioeingang (3,5 mm Klinkenstecker) Der multistreamer ermöglicht Ihnen den Anschluss von Audioquellen mit einem 3,5mm Klinkenstecker zur direkten Übertragung von Audiosignalen an die Hörgeräte. 5. Telefonie DE Ihr multistreamer ermöglicht komfortables Telefonieren direkt und drahtlos über Ihre audifon Hörsysteme. Dazu kann der multistreamer mit allen (Mobil-)Telefonen gekoppelt werden, die das HFP- oder HSP-Protokoll unterstützen (handsfree profile/ headset profile). Zunächst verbinden Sie Ihr kompatibles (Mobil-)Telefon mit dem multistreamer. Dann stehen Ihnen die Telefonoptionen zur Verfügung. 5.1 Kopplung herstellen 1.
5.2 Eingehende Anrufe annehmen R R +L L 1 2 3 4 Bei bestehender Kopplung werden eingehende Anrufe durch ein akustisches Signal angekündigt. Drücken Sie die Programmtaste 4 (drahtlose Telefonübertragung) zur Gesprächsannahme. 5.3 Ausgehende Anrufe einleiten Ist Ihr Mobiltelefon mit dem multistreamer gekoppelt, werden Anrufe automatisch nach Wahl der Rufnummer auf die Hörgeräte übertragen. 1 Start-up and operation 1.1 Insert batteries The audifon multistreamer is powered by two AAA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable). To start your multistreamer open the battery compartment and insert batteries: 1. Release the lid of the battery compartment as seen below. 2. Place the battery in the battery compartment as seen below. Make sure that the marks (+)/(-) on the battery are in the position corresponding to the mark (+)/(-) in the battery compartment.
1.2 Low battery warning EN While in use, a red flashing of the LED display every five seconds indicates low battery life. If functions of the multistreamer cannot be processed due to low battery life, the LED display flashes red twice.

2. Remote control functions EN 2.1 Side selection R R +L L 1 2 3 4 In case you wear two hearing aids the side selection button allows independent volume and program change for each hearing aid as well as change for both hearing aids simultaneously.

For balanced volume between hearing aids set side selection button on R+L. Changes to volume are displayed by a green flashing LED display. After the start-up, hearing aids are preset to the volume level set by your hearing care specialist. To adjust press (+) to increase volume and (-) to decrease volume.

With the key lock on (button set on the lock-symbol) pressing of buttons will not affect settings in situations such as transporting device or while in pocket. With the key lock activated your multistreamer is put into energy-saving-mode automatically.
3. Audio transmission (via Bluetooth) EN The transmission of signals from external audio sources that comply with A2DP-Bluetooth-standard can be achieved in two steps. Step one: Connect (pair) the audio source to the multistreamer. Step two: Transmit the audio signal from the multistreamer to the hearing aids. 3.1 Establishing a connection to audio source R R +L L 1 2 3 4 Your audifon multistreamer can be connected to compatible Bluetooth devices as follows: 1.
3.2 Establishing a connection to hearing aids To establish an audio transmission between the multistreamer and the hearing aids, you first need to fasten the loop antenna in place around your neck. Then connect the loop antenna to the loop antenna port of the multistreamer as seen below. You can connect to either port; there is no difference between right and left. To establish the connection to your hearing aids proceed as follows: 1.
3.3 End transmission EN To end the transmission between the multistreamer and your hearing aids just select one of your preset hearing programs (program one or two). If you later wish to return to the audio transmission you used before, select program three. To disconnect an audio source from the multistreamer shut off the Bluetooth function of the multistreamer pressing and holding the Bluetooth button until the display flashes red once. The blue flashing LED will discontinue.
4. 5. Telephone options EN Your multistreamer enables you to use your telephone comfortably and wirelessly stream phone calls onto your hearing systems. Therefore you can connect all telephones featuring HFP (handsfree profile) or HSP (headset profile) protocol with your multistreamer. In order to use the telephone options you need to establish a connection between a telephone and your multistreamer first. 5.1 Connecting your telephone Connect your telephone with your multistreamer as follows: 1.
5.2 Answering incoming calls R R +L L With an established connection incoming calls are indicated by an audible signal. Your voice is processed through the microphone of the multistreamer. 5.4 Ending calls To end a call simply press program button 4 again.
6. Dealing with problems EN Audio source cannot be connected Some Bluetooth-enabled devices feature separate options for sending and receiving Bluetooth signals. Please make sure that the audio source you wish to connect is sending signals. For further instructions see user manual of the device.
