Care & Cleaning • • • Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor. Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord. Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth dampened with mild cleaner.

1.3 Adjusting the monitor • For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you. • Hold the base to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle. • You can tilt the monitor’s from -5º to 15º, swivel from left-to-right for 150º, and lift the monitor’s height for about 100mm.

2.1 Detaching the arm/stand (for VESA wall mount) The detachable stand of the VH242xL/VH232xL/VH236HL/VH222xL Series LCD monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount. To detach the arm/stand: . Lower the monitor to its lowest height, and then inset the monitor height adjustment lock. 2. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table. 3. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws on the VESA cover, the slide out the arm/base to detach it from the monitor.
2.2 Assembling the monitor base To assemble the monitor base 1. Have the monitor base place on a flat table. 2. 3. Use the screw, lock the base to the arm according to the below drawing.
