1.1 Installing the CacheVault™ to ASUS server systems Some ASUS server systems have a specially designed space for installing the CacheVault™ Power Module, allowing you to make use of all your system’s PCIE expansion slots. If your server system does not have a specially designed space, please refer to 1.2 Installing the CacheVault™ to a PCIE slot for more details. 1.2 Installing the CacheVault™ to a PCIE slot To install the CacheVault™ Power Module into your server system, you can use the CacheVault™ Bracket kit to install the CacheVault™ Power Module into a PCIE expansion slot. Follow the steps below to install the CacheVault™ Power Module and CacheVault™ Bracket kit into your server system. 1.
3. Align the ASUS CVPM clip holder with the bracket (A), then secure it with bracket screws (B).
4. Install the CacheVault™ bracket assembly into a PCIE slot in your server system. The illustration shown below is for reference only.
