Getting to know ADAM Connected Web Console ADAM Connected Web Console is a web-based client to help you keep track of multiple devices on a web-based server system. Use ADAM Connected Web Console to easily manage and monitor your ASUS ADAM powered devices. NOTE: The screenshots in this manual are for reference only. Actual screenshots may vary.
Log in to your account You will need a login account to use ADAM, register with ASUS to obtain a login account. To login to ADAM: 1. Connect to the Internet, then open your internet bowser and go to https://adam.asus.com/asus/en/login 2. Enter your username and password. 3. Click Log in to enter the administration console. NOTE: Click the language drop down box to change the language.
ADAM Connected Web Console home screen The home screen will appear after you login to the ADAM Connected Web Console. Click to log out Click your user name to change your password or user profile Menu tab NOTE: The menu tab may be hidden on some browsers. Click the icon on the top-left corner for the menu tab.
Profile The profile page displays your profile information and allows you to edit your profile or change your password.
To change your profile: 1. Click your username on the top-right corner to enter the profile page. 2. Click Edit Profile to enter edit mode. 3. Change the respective fields. 4. Click Save to complete. NOTE: Click to add additional information.
To change your password: 1. Click your username on the top-right corner to enter the profile page. 2. Click Change password. 3. Enter your current password and new password. 4. Click Confirm to complete.
Account Accounts This page displays all the customer accounts registered under your ISV account. Click to view the Account details page Click to view the User licenses page Click to view the Devices page Total assigned licenses - The total number of available licenses assigned to the customer account. Total used licenses - The total number of licenses that have been used (including licenses that are currently in use or have been used and expired).
Account details This page displays more details about the customer’s account, you can also modify or delete the customer’s account on this page. To delete your customer’s account: 1. Click Accounts from the menu tab. 2. Click on the customer’s display name to enter its Account details page. 3. Click Delete, then click Confirm to complete.
To change your customer’s account details: 1. Click Accounts from the menu tab. 2. Click on the customer’s display name to enter its Account details page. 3. Click Modify to enter edit mode.
4. Change the respective fields. 5. Click Confirm to complete.
User licenses This page allows you to view more detailed information about the customer’s license. To view the details of the customer’s license: 1. Click Accounts from the menu tab. 2. Click on the number under the customer’s License history to enter its User licenses page and view its details.
Devices This page shows the current state of the customer’s device. To view the current state of the customer’s device: 1. Click Accounts from the menu tab. 2. Click on the number under the customer’s Device quantity to enter its Devices page and view the current state. Filter by device status NOTE: The list is limited to display 100 devices per page. Click more... on the bottom right of the page to display more devices, or click Show all to display all the devices.
Create account To create and register your customer’s account: 1. Click Create account from the menu tab. 2. Fill in the required information into the corresponding fields. 3. Click Register to complete. NOTE: Click to add additional information.
Order Orders This page displays all the orders under your ISV account.
Order details This page displays the order details and allows you to assign license to a customer’s account.
To view the order details and assign license: 1. Click Orders from the menu tab. 2. Click on the order number to enter its Order details page and view the order details. 3. Select a customer from the drop down box. 4. Enter a number in the quantity field. 5. Click Assign to complete.
Device manager Add new device Before a device can be managed with ADAM Connected Web Console, it must first be added into the system. You can add devices manually, or upload a .csv file for batch import. To add devices manually: 1. Click Add new device from the menu tab. 2. Select a customer account to import the device. 3. Check License Validity, then select a license from the available list. NOTE: • If you did not check the License Validity checkbox, the available list of licenses will not show.
NOTE: 22 • An required field is denoted with an asterisk (*). • The IMEI, MAC, and SN of a device can be found on the device under Settings > About > Status.
To add devices by batch import: 1. Click Add new device from the menu tab. 2. Select a customer account to import the device. 3. Check License Validity, then select a license from the available list. NOTE: • If you did not check the License Validity checkbox, the available list of licenses will not show. • If you did not assign a license at this step, you can still assign a license at a later stage. Refer to the Bind the license to the device section for more details. 4. Click the Upload .
NOTE: • Click Download .csv file example to download a sample file. • Check the format of the .csv file if an error occurs. Only UTF-8 encoded files are supported. File format for the .csv file The device information for the .csv file requires each row to contain one device with the following fields separated with a comma: Device name,IMEI,MAC,Serial number NOTE: The format for the .csv file must also be adjusted to include the customized field in the correct order.
Bind the license to the device If you did not select a license when adding a new device, you can bind a license to the device in this page. To bind license to a device: 1. Click Bind the license to the device from the menu tab. 2. Select a customer account to bind the license. 3. Select a license from the available list. 4. Check the devices from the list. 5. Click Assign to complete binding the license. NOTE: The list is limited to display 100 devices per page. Click more...
License status The license period will still start from the first activation date, you can view the license product name and due date on the Bind the license to the device page. Product Name: ADAM Connected Due date: Status: License has been binded but not activated yet. Product Name: ADAM Due date: Status: The device comes bundled with ADAM and there is no expiration date. Product Name: ADAM Connected Due date: Status: License has been binded and activated.
