CAUTION:
Turn
off
electricity at
main electricalbox
BEFORE
installation.
1. Place
Lantem
with
POST-HOLDER
over
POST, and
align
Lantern
to
desired orientation.
Mark
hole
locations
of POST-HOLDER
onto
POST
Remove
Lantern
and
drillthe
3
holes
with
a li29
or 1/8' drill
bit.
Use the
setf-tapping
screw
provided
to thread
the 3
holes.
2.
.Connect
the
identified
(ribbed)
wire
to
the
white
(neutral)
wire from the
outlet
box.
.Connect
the
smooth
wire to the
black
(hot)
wire
from the
outlet box.
.Connect
the
GROUND
wire of Lantern to
GREEN
or
Bare
wire
from
outlet
box.
.Use
wire
nuts
and electricaltape to
make allconnections.
3. Place Lantern
onto
POST, align holes
and fasten
with the
8'32
thumb
screws
Provided.
WARNING:
RISK OF FIBE.
Most
dwellings
built
before
1985
have wire rated
60 C.
Consult
a
qualified
electrician
before installing.
CAUTION: Use
light
bulbs
with
wattages
no
groalsrthan
gq1gi
lied
on
fixlure. Make
sure-eleclricity
is
off
BEFORE
installing light
bulbs.
