Notes and Maintenance

Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly.

Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required.

To protect the product, wax after installing. Regular waxing is recommended

to add a protective layer over the ﬁnish. Do not use any type of polish or wax

that may contain abrasives that could damage the ﬁnish.

For polished, gloss and other smooth ﬁnishes,

polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the ﬁnish.

Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product.

Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads,

wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the ﬁnish.

Refer to the table to the left when securing hardware during the

installation process to help prevent damage to the product or vehicle.

Step 1 Beginning on the driver side, remove the three Torx head bolts securing the side mirror to the vehicle. Set the mirrors aside to be re-installed on the tube doors. Step 2 Locate the door strap on the inside of the vehicle. Remove the strap from the hook. CAUTION: Once the strap is released the door can swing open into the vehicle, potentially causing damage. Step 3 Remove the nuts from the bottom of the factory hinge pins. Lift the door off and carefully set aside. ARIESAUTOMOTIVE.

Step 4 To install the tube doors, position the hinge pins directly above the hinges. Lower the hinge pins into the door hinges until the hinge pins are fully seated. Install the provided M6 flange nuts. Step 5 Be sure the rotary latch is aligned properly with the factory door strike. With the rotary latch in the open position, line up the latch with the factory door strike and gently close the door. It may be necessary to loosen the factory door strike for proper alignment.

Step 6 Attach the door strap to the hook located on the inside of the vehicle. Step 7 To install the factory mirrors, locate and remove the plugs in the three mirror mounting holes in the tube door. Align the mirror with the mounting holes and secure with the provided M6 screw, flat washer and lock nut. Step 8 Repeat steps 1 through 7 for the passenger side tube door. With the doors installed, periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all hardware remains tight.
