Yes, your Fios Home Router’s wireless option is activated out of
the box.
9.1d/ IS THE WIRELESS SECURITY ON BY DEFAULT WHEN THE
WIRELESS OPTION IS ACTIVATED?
Yes, with the unique WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access II)
key that is printed on the sticker on the rear panel of your
Fios Home Router.
9.1e/ WHICH CONNECTION SPEEDS DOES MY
FIOS HOME ROUTER SUPPORT?
The Ethernet WAN Internet connection supports 10/100/
1000 Mbps. The LAN Ethernet connections support
10/100/1000 Mbps. The 802.11ax wireless connection supports
up to 4800 Mbps The 802.11ac wireless connection supports
up to 3120 Mbps and the 802.11n supports up to 450 Mbps,
depending on signal quality.
9.1f/ ARE MY FIOS HOME ROUTER’S ETHERNET PORTS AUTO-
SENSING?
Yes. Either a straight-through or crossover Ethernet cable can
be used.
