Network Video Recorder User Manual Chapter 1 Startup 1.1 Activate Your Device For the first-time access, you need to activate the video recorder by setting an admin password. No operation is allowed before activation. You can also activate the video recorder via web browser, SADP or client software. Before You Start Power on your device. Steps 1. Select a language. 2. Click Apply. 3. Input the same password in Password and Confirm Password.

Before You Start ● Ensure your network camera is on the same network segment with your video recorder. ● Ensure the network connection is valid and correct. Refer to General for details. ● Ensure the network camera password is the same as your video recorder. Steps 1. Go to Configuration → Camera → IP Camera.

Steps 1. Go to Configuration → Camera → IP Camera. 2. Click to edit the selected camera.
