VIDEO INDOOR STATION Chapter 1 : Introduction Welcome Thank you for purchasing this Video Indoor Station. Home Security is emphasized by the lifestyle of modern families. ID5101 features Home Security for daily life on your community network. ID5101 lets you set Security areas in your house, and it helps to guard your home safe by sensing abnormal situations (CO, Gas, and Emergency Button). Once alarm is triggered, three calls will automatically be sent with Alarm Speech Announcement.

VIDEO INDOOR STATION Use of Home Security and SIP Video Phone In the diagram, ID5101 is connected to CO sensor, Gas detector, and Emergency button to guard your home safe. Besides, ICMS (Intelligent Community Management Server) may deliver messages such as Community Notice and Alarm to your ID5101. SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a most commonly used protocol that used to interconnect SIP services to establish voice and video sessions between each other over an IP Network.

MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Suggested Installation Positions Due to the view angle of the camera is limited, therefore the installation position for Video Indoor Station is crucial. In order to get a better view, the view angle of this door phone should be around 105. Also the height of the lens position is suggested between 155cm to 165cm according to building conditions. For more details, please refer to Diagram below.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Installing Procedures 1. Screw the Back Plate on the Wall Please pull out the AC wires and Ethernet cable pass through the back plate. Hence, connect with the Video Indoor Station after screw the Back Plate on the wall. If necessary, please connect the Earth wire to the screw as Diagram below. About the safety/security application requirement, please connect the control wires with I/O cable and put it in the embedded box. And then pull out the I/O cables pass through the back plate.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR 2. Connect the AC Wires and Ethernet Cable Plug the AC cable connector of ID5101 to Power-Connecting connector, and connect Ethernet cable to ID5101 as Figure below. Be careful when you are connecting the AC wires, please check the AC condition and turn off the general power switch before you start to connect the wires. VIDEO INDOOR STATION LED Indicators There are 6 LED Indicators on Dedicated Function Keys which display different color, activity and meaning. Please refer to following table. NAME Security COLOR Blue Red LED ACTIVITY MEANING On Security is On. Blinking Security is going to be Ready. Off Security is Off. On Alarm is triggered. NOTE: This may be caused by triggering CO, Gas, or Emergency Button. Or, Security Area is triggered. Dis-Alarm Flash Blue Blinking Alarm is disabled temporally.

MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Making Phone Calls Before you start using the Video Indoor Station, please ensure your network is connected and SIP Proxy is registered. Then, you may make a call by following ways: z Press the Dial soft-function key and key in the phone number on the dialing field, then press soft-function key to make a video call or voice call. z Press the SpeedDial function key and then press the speed-dial number to make a (video) phone call.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Incoming Call When a call comes in, the phone will ring, and the caller information will be displayed on the screen. You may answer this call by following ways: z Press key. z Press Answer soft-function key. If you want to reject this call, you may press Reject soft-function key. NOTE: When the visitor is a stranger and you don’t really understand his intension, you should press Reject soft-function key to keep you safe.

RFID Card RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) card is used to set ID5101 Security (Area A, B, C, and D) On/Off. As you know, RFID technology is also quickly becoming a popular choice in door/card access control system. Use your added RFID card to scan RFID reader to set Security (Area A, B, C, and D) On/Off.

VIDEO INDOOR STATION Chapter 4 : ID5101 Graphic User Interface The ID5101 GUI (Graphic User Interface) provides user an easy-to-use interface. There are three main features on the TFT-LCD screen- Safety, Videos, and Messages. The three main features provide strong Home safety and surveillance. The top Safety and Area A, B, C, and D display real-time Safety Area status. Besides, the soft-function key indicator- Setting allows you to set Network, SIP, System configuration, etc.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR The statuses of Security Area A, B, C, and D may indicate the statuses of 4 magnetic sensors that may be installed in Front Door, Balcony, Kitchen and Rear Door to guard your home safe. COLOR – Security Status Description The Green light means that security is On. The Gray light means that security is Off. The Red light means that Alarm is triggered. It may mean that someone broke in Area B.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Safety Status The Safety statuses contain 4 items: z z z z Safety ABCD Detector Lighting Alarm COLOR: Green light means Device Workable. Red light means Device Abnormal. Again, you may enter Safety ABCD by pressing Enter button. The statuses of all four items would be displayed. The status of Safety ABCD includes the statuses of 4 magnetic sensors that may be installed in Front Door, Balcony, Kitchen and Rear Door.

User can press Green light means device workable. Gray light means device disabled. Red light means device abnormal. Exit soft-function key to go back to previous screen. Security Group Your registered RFID cards can be used to set Security (Area A, B, C, and D) On/Off.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Default Password: 1111 Use Navigation Keypad “∧”and “∨”to select the item, then press soft-function key or press “9” button to change the setting. After finishing the setting, please pressing Exit soft-function key to go back to previous screen. Card Management Card Management allows you to add, edit, and delete RFID cards. You may press Enter soft-function key to bring up Scan Card to Show Card Information page.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Adding/Editing User Information of RFID Cards The figures below are the users’ information of RFID cards that have been added to the ID5101. User may edit card information or add new RFID card. There are two ways to add RFID card. The first is to add RFID by scanning new RFID card on card reader on the Scan Card to Add New Card page, and the second is to press Add Card soft-function key to add new Card. The following example shows how to edit card information.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION 1. To enter user information, use Dial Key pads and Navigation Key pads to select and enter number/alphabet/character/symbol for user information. 2. User may need to change input method, please press ChangeIME soft-function key to select proper input method. Three kinds of IME (Input Method Editor) are available as below. MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Deleting RFID Card From main screen, you can select Safety Æ Card Management Æ Enter Æ Management and entering password (Default Password: 1111) and use [ Ç ] and [ È ] navigation keypad to select the card that you want to delete. To delete the RFID card, press [ManagementÆ Delete] soft-function key to delete RFID card. Then, the prompt “Please Select Management Action” appears. Press Delete soft-function key again to delete the selected RFID card.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Videos (Surveillance) This function features video surveillance, and it allows you to access to view live videos through up to 12 live cameras (or video phones). Connecting with IP Video Phone and Video Door Phone, your ID5101 helps to form Home Security System and keep your home safe. ID5101 also helps to guard your premises by using it to view real-time video through SIP Camera. Or, make phone call to DP101R to view video outside the door.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Live Video From main screen, you can select Videos and press Enter “9” key to enter the View screen. (Refer to the right Figure) To view live video at other room or outside the house, please select site or location by using [ Ç ] and [ È ] keys, and then press Enter key [ 9 ] or press View soft-function key. NOTE: The connections with other video devices are set through WEB UI. Enabling remote viewing, your ID5101 needs to connect with other cameras/video door phones.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Massages This feature provides you important and useful messages while you were out and you are home now. They include Alarm Record, Pictures of Visitors, Call Record, and, Community Notice. Select Massage and press Enter key [ 9 ] to enter the Massage screen. The messages contain four items, and each item has record massage(s) and unread massage(s). z Alarm Record: Each alarm that has occurred will be recorded (maximum 30 alarms record).
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Alarm Record Alarm Record records all alarms that have occurred, and it also displays the time and status of the alarms. This symbol means the security of safety area is currently on. This symbol means the security of safety area is currently off. This symbol means the alarm is manually dis-alarmed temporally. This symbol means the alarm is triggered. This symbol means the alarm is all clear.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Call Record Call Record displays calls including incoming calls, dialed calls, and missing calls, and it also shows the time of the calls. The maximum number of the calls in Call Record is 30. You may delete less important calls in Call Record manually by pressing Delete soft-function key. To go back to previous screen, press Exit soft-function key. Community There are two kinds of messages on Community. The first is Community Notice, and the second is Mail Notification.

MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR System Settings This setting contains some basic system settings of this device. These settings allow general users to set up this Video Indoor Station according to their preferences. ITEM Description Firmware Version The current firmware version of your Video Indoor Station Device ID This ID is a unique number giving by manufacturer to identify this device on networks. It is fixed and not revisable. Device Name This item allows user to give a name to this device.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Time Zone You may select preferred time zone in this field. This Time Zone is based on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) system. There are total 33 selections, from GMT-12:00 to GMT+13:00. You may use [ Ç ] and [ È ] keys to select your Time Zone. For example: Taipei is GMT+08:00 Day Light Saving This item allows you to enable or disable “Day-Light- Saving” function. This phone will adjust the time automatically according to globe standard if enabled.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Video Color This item allows you to adjust color balance of the camera module. There are 4 options: White light, Yellow light, Red Light and Deep red light. Please select a suitable one to meet your room lighting environment. Default setting is Yellow light. Video Brightness This item allows you to adjust brightness of the camera module. There are 10 levels, from 0 to 9. Higher number gives brighter image. Default setting is 2.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Audio Settings This setting contains 2 parameters for adjusting audio qualities: ITEM Description Handfree Vol This item allows you to set volume of speaker. There are 10 levels, 0 ~ 9. Default setting is 4. Ringer Vol This item allows you to set volume of ring tone. There are 10 levels, 0 ~ 9. Default setting is 4. Network Settings This setting allows you to set up the important parameters of network connection, and it is protected by password.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR the default is DCHP. DHCP - If you wish to connect this device to a exist network and get dynamic IP address from the DHCP server, please select this one. You will see all other items in this mode are grayed out. In most of cases, DHCP Client is used for connecting LAN (Local-Area-Network). Static IP - If you wish to use fixed IP address to connect to network, you may select this one. You may get Fixed IP when you applying SIP service from carriers or operators.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Account selected in IP type selection. PPPoE Password You may fill in PPPoE account password here if PPPoE is selected in IP type selection. Web UI This item allows you enable or disable the Web-User-Interface HTTP service. Web UI will be not available if disabled. ICMS IP The IP address of ICMS (Intelligent Community Management Server). NOTE: Your ID5101 needs to be connected to AmRoad ICMS system. ICMS Port The IP address of ICMS (Intelligent Community Management Server).

Account You may fill in your account name of SIP service here. Password You may fill in the password of your SIP service account here. Mode This item allows you to select the working model of SIP service. Select “Server Mode” mode if this phone is connected to a SIP server or IP PBX. Default setting is “Peer-to-Peer Mode”.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION SIP Sess Timer Initial of Session Timer. This is a parameter of SIP service. You may fill in the Session Timer period of SIP service. You have to contact your service provider to get correct setting. Default setting is 0 seconds. Streaming Setting This section allows you to adjust necessary parameters for audio and video streaming and it is password protected. Default password is “1234”. You may change password in Chg Password soft-function key.

You may change password by using Chg Password soft-function key. ITEM Description Don’t Disturb All phone calls will be rejected if this service is enabled. Caller will here voice message to inform you the phone is busy when call this number. Default is “Disable”.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION The phone calls will be forwarded to the number if Busy Forward is enabled. CFB Number To select Disable, 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds for No Answer Forward function No Answer Forward CFNA Number The phone calls will be forwarded to the number if No Answer Forward is not disabled. It contains advanced settings that may help you to solve certain compatibility issues with your services. This UI also provide remote management capability to service provider.

Device Name The field allows user to give a specified name for identification such as “Smith Family”. Date & Time Here shows date and time set on this phone. Set New Date & Time These fields allow user to set correct date and time according to the local–standard.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Item Description Time Zone This field allows you to select your time zone to fit your location. You can enable the Daylight-Saving feature if needed. Network Time Protocol Enable this protocol allows the system to calibrate the time with NTP server through Internet. NTP Server Address You may use your preferred NTP server by input new address here. Calibration Schedule You may select when that you wish to do this NTP calibration.

PPPoE: This allows you to set Internet connection with User Name and Password. Save Click this button to save your setting. System Login ID The default ID and password for system login are admin and admin. User may change his Login ID and Password on the webpage by entering new Login ID and Password.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Phone Settings Video Settings Item Description Bandwidth You may select preferred bandwidth for video and audio streaming. There are 4 options: 128Kbps, 256Kbps, 384Kbps, and 512Kbps. Please check which bandwidth is suitable for you with your service provider. Codec Priority– First – You may select the Video streaming priority - H.263 or MPEG4. Second –You may select the Video streaming priority - H.263, MPEG4, or Disable.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Audio Setting ITEM Description Code Priority First – You may select the Audio streaming priority – G.711U, G.711A or G.729. Second –Select the Audio streaming priority – G.711U, G.711A, G.729 or Disable. Third –Select the Audio streaming priority – G.711U, G.711A, G.729 or Disable. VAD You may enable or disable Voice-Active-Detection function here. The ID5101 will detect background noise and send silence packet to the other end if this feature is enabled.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION SIP Settings You may setup advanced SIP service parameters in this webpage: Item Description Authentication Display Name This name will be shown on the IP phone of called parties. You can fill in the preferred name here. For example, 807 User Number You may fill in the phone number here, normally it is provided by service provider. To work with IP PBX, you may fill in extension number. For example, 807 Account ID You may fill in your account name of SIP service in this field.

Protocol You may select network communication protocol of the SIP service here. There are 2 options: UDP and TCP. Default setting is UDP protocol. Hold Version This setting is configured differently depending on which SIP proxy server is being connected.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Safety & Security Device Setting This page is used to configure Safety and Security devices. There are 8 Input ports (DI1~DI8) and 4 Output ports (DO1~DO4) available on ID5101 GPIO module. Moreover, DI1-DI4 are for MS (Magnetic Sensors), DI5-DI8 are for CO sensor, Emergency Button, and Gas detector. DO1-DO3 are for Lighting, Lighting, Alarm. (DO4 is reserved). ITEM Description Device Name In the drop-down menu, select the device name that your ID5101’s GPIO port is connected to.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Alarm Notice Once any device of your safety device is triggered, the alarm will be started, and 1~3 phone calls will be sent out automatically by system. Besides, an email and up to 3 SMS will be sent to specific persons to inform that alarm occurs. Item Description Phone Call 1 When the alarm is started, system will make a phone call to the phone number. Phone Call 2 If Phone Call 1 doesn’t answer the phone, system will continue to call Phone Call 2.

For example, 587 SMTP Account Account for SMTP server SMTP Password Password for SMTP server TLS TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol over SMTP offers certificate-based authentication and helps provide security-enhanced data transfers.

After completing installation and setting, ID5101 lets you view live video and you will know what’s happening. Item Description Location Name Assign location name to the device (camera/video phone). Call Number Enter the call number of the device (camera/video phone). Save Save your setting.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION Upgrade The Upgrade function allows you to upgrade firmware of the ID5101 (Video Indoor Station). The ways to upgrade the firmware is via Web UI. The Upgrade here goes through Web UI. There are 3 items: Upgrade Item Description Software Version Shows current firmware version number Select Target File You may press Browse button to pop up a File dialog box to select the location of the new firmware that you wish to upgrade.
MANUAL FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATOR Config This feature allows you to import a configuration file of ID5101 Phone settings into this device. The configuration file is in XML format. Item Description Import File User may press Browse button to select the location of the configuration file to import, which you may previously save to a local directory through the Export File option. Upload After selecting the configuration file, you can press Upload button to start the importing.
VIDEO INDOOR STATION APS This APS page is used to set Enable/Disable APS server. While the APS server is enabled, system integrator or service provider would be allowed to upgrade your firmware of ID5101 remotely. Item Description APS Upgrade You may enable Auto-Upgrade Manager here. Since this upgrade may affect your normal operations, so make your own decisions to upgrade or not upgrade.
