INSTALLATION AND FRAMING INSTRUCTIONS The variety of installations possible for this whirlpool may require framing procedures other than those shown. Locate studs as needed. Ensure roughing-in dimensions are proper, plumb and square. Provisions must be made in all installations for an access opening for servicing the pump and controls. It is strongly recommended that an additional opening be provided for access to the drain components. The apron should not be used as the primary access opening. 1.

WHIRLPOOL ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS All wiring must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the national electrical code and all other applicable codes. ! WARNING: When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be observed, including the following: 1. DANGER: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Connect only to a circuit protected by a ground-fault circuit interrupter. 2. Grounding is required. The unit should be installed by a licensed electrician and grounded. 3.
For 6060L/V Corner Only OPERATION Fig. 1 WARNING: Prior to operation, review the Important Safety Instructions listed at the beginning of this instruction manual. Once the heater is installed and the whirlpool pump is operating, the heater is totally automatic. The heater will help maintain the temperature of the water in the bath. E-Z INSTALL™ HEATER WHIRLPOOL HEATER “ON” LIGHT Pressure Switch FACTORY INSTALLED - NOT FOR RESALE The heater is equipped with a preset pressure switch.
OPERATION: NOTE: Each whirlpool is shipped from the factory with an air actuator on/off switch and pump with attached power supply cord. OPERATING THE SYSTEM WITHOUT WATER (DRY RUNNING) WILL CAUSE PUMP DAMAGE AND VOID THE WARRANTY. Always fill the whirlpool before operating the pump. The air switch is mounted either on the deck or side wall of the tub. 1. Fill the Whirlpool: Water level must be at least one inch (25mm) above the highest jet for proper operation. (See diagram below.
Adjustable Flow Clean Jet™: The water flow action may be adjusted from vigorous to soft by rotating the nozzle clockwise for vigorous massage and counter-clockwise for soft massage. NOTE: You may balance the air volume control and nozzle adjustment for the most desirable condition.
DRAIN CONNECTION AND SYSTEM TEST Using recommended drain assembly, connect whirlpool drain to waste line in accordance with the drain assembly instructions. Tighten all drain joints securely. Check the pump couplings and make sure they are hand-tight. Clean the whirlpool and fill with water to a point 2" above the top of the highest jet. Recheck the pump couplings and make certain that they are not leaking.

E-Z-Install™ Heater Whirlpool Heater EZHEAT-100 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Your E-Z-Install™ whirlpool bathtub heater has been specifically designed to enhance the enjoyment of your whirlpool bath. Once filled, the temperature of the whirlpool bath is constantly maintained by a built-in thermostat for as long as you desire. Your E-Z-Install™ whirlpool bathtub heater is totally self contained to insure trouble free installation and operation.
OPERATION WARNING: Prior to operation, review the Important Safety Instructions listed at the beginning of this instruction manual. Fig. 1 Once the heater is installed and the whirlpool pump is operating, the heater is totally automatic. The heater will help maintain the temperature of the water in the bath. Pressure Switch The heater is equipped with a preset pressure switch. The pump must be running with water flowing in the whirlpool to allow the heater to turn on.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS To ensure that you have received the proper heater designed to operate specifically with your bathtub, locate the bathtub part number within the approved list located on the heater assembly. If you cannot locate the specific bathtub part number, do not install the heater assembly until the proper heater is received. 5. Insert the E-Z-Install™ heater in the open space on the piping and connect the couplings on the heater to the whirlpool piping (photo # 4).

1 INSTALL DRAIN PLUG AND ELL (STANDARD AND OVER-THE-RIM DRAINS) 1 Apply putty to underside of DRAIN PLUG (1) and drop into drain outlet. 2 Slip RUBBER WASHER (2) on from below and thread DRAIN PLUG (1) into DRAIN ELL ASSEMBLY (3). BATH DRAIN OUTLET 3 NOTE: TUB IS SHOWN CUT AWAY FOR CLARITY OF INSTALLATION. 2 PUTTY INSTALL OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY AND DRAIN TEE (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) Loosen SLIP JOINT NUT & SEAL (1) and install onto OVERFLOW TUBE (2).
3 SECURE OVERFLOW ASSEMBLY TO TUB (OVER-THE-RIM DRAIN) 5 Install OVERFLOW GASKET (1) onto OVER FLOW FLANGE (2) using two strips of double-face tape (included). 4 SEALANT 1 2 3 Apply a bead of silicone sealant to upper edge of 0VERFLOW GASKET (1). Push OVER FLOW TUBE ASSEMBLY (3) up flush against underside of ledge. Install and align mounting holes in RETAINING PLATE (4) with holes in OVER FLOW FLANGE (2). Insert MOUNTING SCREWS (5) through RETAINING PLATE (4) into OVER FLOW FLANGE (2).
