INSTALLING 4-TIER CORNER CADDY

MATERIALS:

NOTE: Extreme temperature ranges will impact the pliability, viscosity and curing of adhesive, sealant and butyl tape.

Please ensure the materials are not below 72° F. and/or above 102° F before the applying.

Corner Caddy Dry Fit

NOTE: The corner caddy is placed in a rear corner of the shower at the height specied by the customer.

Ensure the caddy will not interfere with any physical operation of the shower, such as too close to

a grab bar.

Dry t the caddy so that it is level to the specied location and ts in the corner with no large gaps.

a. The caddy may require additional

trimming or sanding along the

outer rear edges of the caddy.

See FIGURE 1.

b. Tape the caddy at the desired location in the

corner of the shower to hold in place and mark

the walls where caddy is located, then remove

the caddy from the corner.

3 Clean the designated area along the shower wall with isopropyl alcohol to ensure adhesion of the butyl tape. a. Clean the entire rear cavity of the caddy. Be sure to thoroughly clean the mounting surface and respective cavities with standard isopropyl alcohol cleaner. b. Allow the alcohol to dry before applying the butyl tape or adhesive. Trimming Butyl Tape to length: Cut the 3/8" round butyl tape into the following lengths and quantities; a. 2 @ 29" – Vertical Edge Support b.

5 Apply (4) - 3/8" x 6" butyl tape along the top and bottom ledge of the corner caddy. See FIGURE 5. 6 Apply (2) 3/8" x 20" butyl to both sides of the caddy centered between the top and bottom shelf and 1 inch in from the vertical edge. Then place a second row of butyl tape over the first row to double up on the thickness of the tape. See FIGURE 6.

7 Each shelf backside cavity is required to be filled 3/4" in depth with the wall adhesive which provides support between shelves cavity when dry. See FIGURE 8. 2 Limpie el área designada a lo largo de la pared de la ducha con alcohol isopropílico para asegurar la adhesión de la cinta de butilo. a. Limpie toda la cavidad trasera de la repisa. Asegúrese de limpiar a fondo la superficie de montaje y las respectivas cavidades con un limpiador de alcohol isopropílico estándar. b. Deje que el alcohol se seque antes de aplicar la cinta de butilo o el adhesivo.

5 Aplique (4) - cintas de butilo de 3/8" x 6" a lo largo del reborde superior e inferior de la repisa esquinera. Ver FIGURA 5. 6 Aplique (2) cintas de butilo de 3/8" x 20" a ambos lados de la repisa centrada entre el estante superior e inferior y a 1 pulgada del borde vertical. Luego coloque una segunda fila de cinta de butilo sobre la primera fila para duplicar el grosor de la cinta. Ver FIGURA 6.

7 La cavidad trasera de cada estante debe llenarse con adhesivo de pared a 3/4" de profundidad para dar soporte entre las cavidades de los estantes cuando se seque. Ver FIGURA 8.
