Step 1 Secure the TV Brackets to TV Select TV Bolts Only one bolt size fits your TV. M4 M6 M8 Bolt length: Verify adequate thread engagement with bolts or bolts/spacers combination. We recommend thread engagement by at least 5 turns. -Too short will not hold the TV. -Too long will damage the TV. Too Short Correct Too Long Correct Note: If necessary, the spacers can be used in multi-layer. If the installation fails after trying various methods, please contact customer service at support@alphamount.
Option B (For Round Back TV) A/C/E/F I 03 04 J/K/L Alternate Spacer Setups Option C (For TV with A “Bump”) Spacers may be necessary for 2 holes ONLY.
Step 2 Assemble the Wall Plate 2-1 Loosen the four preassembled bolts using screwdriver and keep for the use in 2-2 2-2 Secure the right wall plate [01] to the left wall plate [02] by tightening the pre-assembled bolts. DO NOT overtighten. Tighten only until snug.
Step 3A Wood Stud Option WARNING: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! DO NOT over-tighten the lag screws [G]. Tighten the lag screws [G] only until the washers [H] are pulled firmly against the wall plate [01 and 02]. X DO NOT USE ANCHOR FOR THIS STEP Ensure the wall plate is securely fastened to the wall before continuing to the next step. ● Any material covering the wall must not exceed 5/8 in. (16 mm) ● Nominal wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) minimum 1.5 x 3.5 in.
3A-3 Drill 4 pilot holes using a 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is not less than 2.56 in. (65mm) 2 9/16 in. (65mm) ø7/32 in. (5.5mm) 3A-4 Install the wall plate [01 and 02] using lag screws [G] and washer [H]. Tighten the lag screws [G] only until the washers [H] are pulled firmly against the wall plate [01 and 02] . 02 01 G H 1/2 in.
3B-1 3B-2 Position the wall plate at your desired height, level the wall plate and mark the pilot hole locations. Drill 4 pilot holes using a 3/8 in. (10mm) diameter drill bit. Make sure the depth is not less than 2 3/4 in. (70mm). Never drill into the mortar between blocks. 2 3/4 in. (70mm) ø3/8 in. (10mm) 3B-3 G H O Use the hammer to knock anchors [O] into the wall. Be sure the anchors [O] are seated flush with the concrete surface.
Step 4 Adjust Tilt Angles of TV Note: Do not over-tighten or over-loosen the bolts [S] 04 Top of S 5/16in. (8mm) Wrench (Not Included) TV S 03 Bo S tto mo f T V Tighten Loosen Note: The tilt angles of the hooks on the TV brackets must be the same Loosen the four preassembled tilt tension bolts [S] on both brackets. Adjust the hooks of the brackets to the desired angle, then tighten tilt tension bolts with a wrench (not included) and a screwdriver (not included) to fix the tilting angle of the TV.
Step 6 Secure TV 01 02 R Locking Press Pull down and hold both cords [R], press the bottom of the TV into the wall plate [01 and 02] until the latches lock the TV in place. Step 7 Remove the TV HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step. R Unlocking Disconnect all cables, pull down and hold both cords [R] while gently pulling the bottom of the TV away from the wall.
