Install/Replace batteries - OBSERVE POLARITY
1. Receiver: Remove clear protective outer wrapping from CR-2 battery. Slide
the battery chamber lid off and load one CR-2 Lithium battery OVER the
fabric strip. Pull fabric strip to remove battery. Replace battery cover.
2. Transmitter: Battery is pre-installed. To replace, open the back by removing
2 Phillips head screws and install one 23A Battery. Observe polarity
Channel Setting
3. Remove yellow protective film from transmitter and receiver switch sets.
4. With receiver power off and using a pointed tool, set the channel selector
switch of both receiver and transmitter to the same positions (1 of 16
channels).
Operation
5. Turn the camera power OFF. Inset the receiver cord into the camera control port. Turn on the camera and
then the wireless shutter release receiver. Do NOT plug and un-plug the receiver when the camera is on.
6. Momentarily press the gray button on the receiver. The red LED indicates the receiver is on.
Press the button again to turn the receiver off.
7. Lightly press the transmitter button to enable the camera auto focus and auto exposure action. The green light
on the transmitter indicates partial shutter and the green light on the receiver reflects the actions of the
transmitter.
8. Fully press the transmitter button to release the camera shutter. Transmitter and receiver LED will flash red.
9. Bulb mode: First set the camera to Bulb mode. Fully press the transmitter button for about 3 seconds and the
transmitter monitor light will turn off. Now release the button and the camera is in Bulb mode. To release Bulb
mode, press the button of transmitter again.
10. Continuous shooting: Set the camera on C mode (continuous shooting). Fully press the transmitter button for
about 3 seconds until the monitor light turns off. The camera is operating in C mode. To release C mode,
press the transmitter button again.
11. From time to time assure that the receiver cord is firmly mounted to the camera port
12. When the monitor light flashes, the battery is exhausted, change battery.
