ALPINE DCS-BT1 USER GUIDE ALPINE DCS-BT1 USER GUIDE Before using the DCS-BT1 Using the DCS-BT1 The Alpine DCS-BT1 is a wireless handsfree using Bluetooth technology. It supports A2DP, AVRCP as well as headset and handsfree profiles. Bluetooth is registered trademark of Bluetooth SIG. Charging The Alpine DCS-BT1 is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. You must charge the battery fully before using the DCS-BT1 for the first time. Included in package 1. Plug adapter into handsfree charging port. 2.
ALPINE DCS-BT1 USER GUIDE ALPINE DCS-BT1 USER GUIDE Power on / off Power on 3. When in pairing mode, the Blue LED indicator will blink rapidly. Action Tone / Voice LED indication 4. Using your handset, find the ‘Bluetooth menu’ and ‘search for’ or ‘add’ new device. Press and hold the activity button for 3 seconds. You will hear melody as the power is turned on. Blue LED blinks 5 times. 5. Select ‘Alpine DCS-BT1’ from the list of devices and pair it with your handset.
ALPINE DCS-BT1 USER GUIDE Handsfree Connection 1. After pairing, Alpine DCS-BT1 connects automatically to your handset. If the devices are paired but not connected, press the Activity button. 2. If the devices are disconnected, you will hear the voice prompt “Phone disconnected”. The handsfree will remain in auto reconnection mode for 30 minutes. Check to see if handset supports Bluetooth wireless technolgy. Check whether the battery of the DCS-BT1 is low. Unable to pair the handsfree with the Bluetooth wireless technology handset device Check and make sure the DCS-BT1 is on. Check and make sure the DCS-BT1 is placed in pairing mode.
